I’m curious, for mount collectors going after Breezebiter to get the Liberated Slyvern, how many kills did it take?
If you don’t have the mount, how many kills are you at?
I’m at about 70 kills, myself. I talked to one person in the open world who was at over 160 kills with no mount.
The drop rate’s supposedly around 2%. A friend of mine is parked outside the cave on two toons server hopping at 140 kills and no mount. Someone on MG said they got it at 90 kills.
I think… maybe three? I haven’t really focused on collections this expansion other than guaranteed sources like Dragonflight Keystone Master: Season One and the daily quest chain for Lizzie’s Reins.
I’m using 2 accounts and it’s the worst grind… it spawns every 1-3 hours, there’s time that it takes 2 hours 40mins to respawn…
You can check wowhead, there’s a lot of players that did 100-200 attempts, the problem is that at this point of the expansion there’s less players doing groups in LFG and its difficult to server hop…
Blizzard needs to change only the respawn time, it’s too much AFK time waiting for a respawn.
I did test on 10.1 and retail, so I can provide feedback because its too much time afk, so I just watch series or play other games, but i should be doing something actively in WoW.

Yeah, I would rather have some mechanic to speed up the respawn time like killing the mobs in the area. At least I wouldn’t be realm hoping as much.
How do you real hope? Just joining groups farming on Azure Span? because I don’t see anyone doing groups for Brezeebiter, since it can only be tagged by 5 players, its a regular elite.
The elite quests like Spellforged Creations, Attacking the Brachenhide and when applicable, the world boss when it’s in the zone.
Mine was kill 52 I think, I used the world boss world quest auto invite groups on lfg to phase constantly to new servers so it took me like 4-5 hours total. Works best to do on a Tuesday when people are doing world boss kills more frequently.
only 2 or 3 kills for me. lucky i guess.
I don’t even know what this mount is. (I’m not looking it up either.) If I play through DF and I get it fine. If I don’t fine.
Next expansion drops I’ll be done with DF and having it or not having it won’t make any difference at all in my life. So… I’m firmly in the don’t care camp.

It was 90 something for me. My buddy got it in like 10 I think.

Probably 150 odd kills, I wasn’t counting.
But I don’t do the realm hop thing, it’s scumbag play.
I did not even know about this guy or mount until tonight when I read this post. Just went and camped him for about 30mins and got the mount on first kill.

I’ve seen him once since expansion dropped, and I’m fairly active. The one time I did, he didn’t show up on the map, I only got there because a nice person shared in General Chat.
Is there something wrong with my Add-ons or does he just not show up?
I think it’s the fact that it isn’t a traditional rare in terms of it having the silver dragon around the nameplate or anything like that, it just looks like a normal elite enemy to me. At least, i don’t recall it looking like a normal rare when i was killing him for the mount (got it after 30 or so tries)
And his spawn time is between 1 hour to 3 hours…
