I sat there with a nice Dwarf friend talking for a bit while waiting on the spawn. Then something happened, I was like hey man does this thing look like the brown colored one to which the Dwarf was like yeah, I think so. Alright man, well best of luck and I hope the mount drops for you.
I got up and flew off to find something else to do.
I personally liked Legion rare system. They are up if the world quests are up. That would be great since you can’t tell which rares are up half the time.
His aoe makes it harder to kill mercy : /
Can you kill and lot more then once a day and still have chance at mount everytime
Is this a question? Yes, you can…but just a warning…it’s an awful grind, the rare spawns between 1 hour to 3 hours, since the respwan time isn’t a precise number, then you must waste a lot of time afk there.
Also, you can try to jump realms with a WQs, worldboss or use a second account and invite yourself to other realms and check if the rare is alive.

They need to change the spawn system for such rares that drop mounts, like a click the item and it spawns. So ppl aren’t waiting long and can get their chance and move on.
It probably took me about 90 or so tries before I got the mount, but this was with realm hopping and getting very fortunate with Breezebiter being up each time I hopped.
Very often I’d find people camped at the cave entrance waiting for him to spawn when he was actually already spawned and just flying in his loop.
This is a no-brainer, but make sure you also make a targeting macro for Breezebiter and follow his path a few times as you can easily miss him if you’re flying too fast.
I went over 300 kills in like 2 weeks before it dropped, so did a few people I know who were camping it. Since it’s not a daily lockout we were using custom group finder to find cobalt, feast and that elite WQ groups to sign up to so we could be sharded around.
We were helping each other also by inviting to groups when it spawned on our shard, swapping alts to find new shards and keeping an eye on group finder in case a breeze group was listed.
Since it’s not a rare you can kill it as many times a day as you want, I got 5 kills in 3 minutes joining random groups one day, on the 5th group it dropped for me.
One negative aspect of Dragon Riding, by the time something spawns it is already behind you.

My buddy who is not a mount collector is half way to the new blue snail mount… I’m still only at 1/50.
I was lucky and got it my first try … The pond Nettle has been HARD for me with almost 2000 cast and going… 
Just bagged it. 13 kills. (The war Within early access weekend).
Pro tip if you go there he is most likely flying around as everyone is in the new zones, so he able to get out of the cave. Killed him 2 times both times he was flying around the bones dig site. 2nd kill had the mount.
A lot. Didn’t really keep count. Even when I did manage to snag it, it didn’t drop for me. A random person decided to form a group for him in the group finder to give everyone a chance at it. It ended up dropping for the party lead, who already had the thing. So, they rolled it off and I happened to win with the highest roll. 
Someone else in the party tried to buy it from me for 100k but I’m not an idiot. I knew exactly what I had and I wasn’t parting with it for nothing.
