Raider io did an event called “Break the Meta” about a month ago where anyone who registers and complete two +15 or higher mythic keystone dungeons during the event with a group consisting of only “off-meta” specs would get a toy called “Shrouded Banner of the Opportune” added automatically to their in game collection. I registered and completed 2 eligible runs and their event leaderboard at that time showed at that time as such also (with this character).
While they said that the rewards would be given out within a month of the event’s conclusion (so between oct. 12th-nov 12th) they posted on their tweeter on October 26th that out of “26,022 participants and 18,790 banners awarded”. But I checked my character and I cant find the Banner toy in my collections or mailbox.
Before I post a ticket, I wanted to know should I wait till November 12th and also if this something I should reach out to blizzard or raider io to resolve.
If you were not notified, then for some reason it would appear your runs didn’t make the metric. I see in their article, they’ve got a special channel in discord for the event. I would reach through to them first, honestly. If they’re the ones who are running the giveaway, they should be your first point of contact. Find out if you did in fact have your runs registered with them properly and all of that. It seems they’re the ones heading the program from what I read (and to be honest, I knew nothing about this at all until now).
Youd need to discuss it with raider IO, the rewards have nothing to do with Blizz really other than it being an in game reward. RIO are the guys who do the processing to make that happen
I contacted them on discord and I think this issue is resolved for now.
For those who might be looking for any info on this, this is the mods response:
“Banners have not yet been awarded - it will be roughly 30 days from when registration closed (20th of last month, ish)
you also may get no notification of it, so just check your toy box every day or two - we are not the ones sending them to you, its blizzard”
