A few of us rolled normal and then we were going to split the normal heroic team to do 2 15 mans runs on Heroic. After about 20 min we just went back to Noob Palace because we couldnt carry the super causals and newer players like we can in raid. I was not heart broken. My main is a mastery class and there is next to nothing in there for me.
The overlap of the fire lines and the soak is just dumb. Donât stand in the fire, but if you donât the soak will get missed, and then everyone dies. Granted I have never been here before, I started playing wow in SL.
It feels a lot like Zekvir (??) and the issues with spell queing.
In theory, the mechanics are easy, but you too often run into spots where the soak circle is over the patch you are supposed to avoid, and too often when trying to do something, the boss is also trying to push you off. I mean, it reminds me of the adds and mechanics of queen - but thatâs the final boss!!!
Well, thereâs also no blue post saying itâs not intended. We wonât really know either way until or unless something is done or said, will we?
And soaking the pull/not getting munched by it, and using the poison AoE to clear webs. You kinda missed a few mechanics there. And on mythic (only since you also included mythic in your âanalysisâ), Ulgrax also has a new type of add to deal with. Youâre not painting a full picture here!
BRD bosses are not mechanically complex, even with this being a ânewâ version of the instance. Itâs purely the numbers that are up for debate here.
I think no one tested it.
Not even in a joke way, like actually no one cause they had a whole set of ptr feedback posts for every boss and difficulties that had no forum responses at all about anytype of mechanic or tuning. Paired with blizz having bosses overtuned by default while testing to make sure they last long enough to see all the mechanics and it might have just gotten left in that state.
Hoping now with feedback they retune it to normal so its not another crucible that i run a couple times on raidfinder for alts.
I kinda thought the same thing as I thought back to the barren PTR posts, tbh. I think nobody cared to test it because they were still busy progressing their characters on live.
It was tested but I donât think they listened to the feedback.
Itâs tuned for streamers and mythic raiders and then after they have their fun theyâll nerf it, similar to RWF with mythic raids.
I am wondering if they are actually doing the raid or just wandering into the legacy dungeon and murdering stuff
I think I only really have strong feelings about one particular boss. Fineas Darkvire. I hope that guy steps on many legos in his next life.
I just did lfr and yeah it did seem a bit much but nothing you canât handle⌠honestly I feel like lfr should have some type of challenge to it. Ever group with someone in a normal or heroic raid who says theyâve only ever done LFR? lol youâll understand my point
Yes, I am painting the full picture here because those added mechanics you mentioned barely matter on normal.
If you think the third boss of BRD isnât mechanically complex, then you are indirectly telling me you havenât done it.
Seriously, I am kinda shocked by the amount of people who say it isnât difficult that havenât even done it yet. That is some serious hubris.
Did LFR and it felt like a normal. Didnt hate it. We took 2 tries to bring him down, but it was all a learning experience. 2nd time was smooth like buttah
JAW DROP.
That is a very telling statistic.
Not for nothing, but the number of clears would likely be higher if it was either the only raid available, it was a ârealâ raid, or it also had a mythic difficulty (and boy, the tuning on that would probably be a hoot). But this is always going to be seen as a âbonusâ raid so itâs not going to get as much participating as Nerub-ar Palace, the ârealâ raid this season.
No, itâs really not complex. Again, the numbers/tuning are the only thing being debated here. And thatâs the only thing that changes between difficulties; unlike Nerub-ar Palace, all BRD bosses have the same mechanics on every difficulty.
This forum is full of trolls. The M+ conversation is full of people telling everyone to âget goodâ and âstop whiningâ - you click on their character and pull up their IO - have not run ANY dungeons or raids this season lol.
I guess I just expect, at the very least, normal human behaviour?
Like, if Iâm complaining about a movie, I expect the defenders would be people who actually watched the movie and liked it. In this case, itâs more like defending a movie despite never watched it ⌠which is wierd.
Doesnât mean they are wrong. It was easier before, now itâs a challenge. Adapt or wonder if youre as good as you want to think you are?
Dont bother looking as I never have run an M+ and donât want to.
Yeah, unfortunately that is not the nature of the internet. There are not enough social costs to behaving badly here and people take advantage.
Ring of Gyges situation.
Iâll one shot it tonight with my group and youâll tell me itâs because Iâm overgeared.
