one shot it on first try, kill moria first EZ PZ
Well yea, that was always the goal in BRD. She was the bigger threat imo. I love how they redid that fight though.
Doing BRD tonight on heroic and I hope bosses donāt fall over. Iām so sick of this games player base expecting everything to fall over and get the greatest reward for minimal challenge. To think these people probably live their lives the same way. Probably a bunch of bottom tier employees and workers complaining they donāt earn management or corporate wages. This is what I envision for all these āovertunedā related threads.
Blizzard activism has a huge issue with scaling. They seem to gyrate back and forth between way to easy and one shotting everyone.
The problem is that the bosses are tuned to mythic ilvl difficulty and drop silly heroic track things. Like you donāt even get anything from the last boss to level up a trinket to mythic track or something.
this is a video game played by 30+ year olds with mortgages and families, relax there mr. tough guy lol
it is a hobby, people play to enjoy, i feel like people forget that and use it as some sort of metric for which to measure their sad lives
having fun is so overrated right? lol
The way it should beā¦
Thatās possible, but I own my own business that I started at 27 and have done quite well. I love easy games, and donāt need extra stress from something I do to waste time with friends. I would honestly believe that more people who actually ātry hardā at videos games are living in the bottom tier, with nothing else of value to base their success upon. I could be know around the world as the worst video game player ever to exists and I would even blink. I just donāt care at all about wasting time to learn mechanics of a game that really only justifies a couple hours worth of attention. If I want to spend my time getting better at something it will be something that pays me, not something I pay to do.
Itās a literal Esport with professional orgs, businesses, and streamers making real money off of it. It isnāt at all designed like itās a game played by 30+ year oldās only.
People make good money playing this game at times. Literally serious business!
Time to have a world first BRD event!
Time for Mythic raiders, the best of the best to show us how BRD Heroic is done!
People make money doing all kinds of frivolous things.
Or maybe a raid shouldnāt require mythic gear to complete in an anniversary event that rewards heroic gear that doesnāt even have mastery on it. The difficulty needs to match the rewards
Same scenario happened with me. Tired to PUG heroic, that was a no go from the start, swapped to normal, got 2 bosses down but got to lord incendius and for whatever reason the group couldnāt grasp the idea of soaking the explosions. Iām totally fine with the confident being difficult. But after seeing the loot that drops even in heroic, I wish the gear reflected the difficulty. I donāt want it to be easier, I just want a better carrot to chase after
Itās apparent that classic raiding was significantly more difficult than modern raiding. Time to call in the Classic players as back up!
Where are you CLassic pros? We need you to raid lead this BRD and show us how it is done!!!
LETāS FRACKIN GO!!!
Classic Pros Rise Up!
For what itās worth, MC only had LFR and that was generally a chaotic wipefest too. I guess anniversary raids are serious business as far as Blizz is concerned.
No, itās simply that many people, like yourself, havenāt tried BRD beyond LFR yet. As the week goes on, and more people do, you will see more and more threads unless there are nerfs because it is legitmetlly overtuned.
Itās not like Iām ignorant of what the current nerub raids are like. Itās the amazement that these bosses are frankly harder despite equal rewards.
Comparatively to Palace itās way overtuned. My guild has several heroic bosses down but couldnāt even get the first BFD boss past 65%. Switched to normal and got hard stuck at the third boss.
If you are looking for a metric this is what Iāll say. Comparatively to Palace, considering they are the same tier and ilvl, BFD is much more difficult while providing the same level of gear but worse in a way due to the lack of tier.
The difficulty, proportionally to the rewards, makes no sense. It makes even less sense when you consider this is a celebration raid, not a progression raid. Something thatās suppose to be for fun for and for a limited time.
Id argue itās greatly overtuned on those merits alone, what it is and comparing it to Palace since itās the same reward tier.
Low effort trolling detected.
This bosses are harder than half of mythic palace bosses, and drop only 610 gear. Absolutely zero reason to run it as it is right now, and downright impossible to do for raids that could use the gear (597-610).
Who says itās not supposed to be both? Based on the difficulty, it would seem like itās both as far as Blizz is concerned. A celebration of difficulty!
Unless you can quote a blue posting saying this is intended, you are talking out your hind quarters on it being āintendedā to be as difficult as it currently is.
Can we do a comparison of bosses in Nerub and BRD?
Because I honestly think the third boss in BRD has more mechanics than the first four bosses in Nerub combined! Frankly, itās on par with Queen!
You are on a platform, that the boss actively tries to knock you off, along with patches that form, which cause you to move. Then he realeases adds, which need to be killed and interrupted, but when they die, they leave a circle that needs to be soaked! And yes, there are times when the soak circle on the fire patch that you canāt stand on, and yes, while going to kills adds, or the soak spot, he begins trying to knock you off again!
The only thing that comes close in palace frankly is Queen and Council.
Hereās ulgrax: stay out of the way when he flies across the room and feed him the adds you kill.
I agree with someone that said Mythic Ulgrax is easier than the third boss of BRD on normal!
