I totally agree with it.
As a Brazilian (who speaks english barely), I have to agree with it. We need a LA or BR server and, of course, a Russian and other regional servers.
WoW Classic needs so much communication.

EU server names are the worst.

i looove all this drama, and come on guys … if they were 1 server that for exaple all players from USA are ally and all player in the Horde are from South America.

that would be awesome just imagine the rivalry between both factions that would make the best pvp experience you could ask for.

Back in Vanilla there was a decent amount of South American players that would roll EST servers. At one point, feel free to check the validity for those who didn’t play back then, we had an ‘English test’ at the start of an instance if you suspected someone was unable to communicate. Legit… look it up. Only ever saw it get one person kicked - it was in ZF. The language barrier was not as big of a deal as some of you believe.

Perhaps it is an issue today. This is because retail allows for the community to be far more fractured into smaller groups. However if you wish to be apart of the community at large in Classic, I.E… running with randos’, then the language of commerce, English, will be widely used. And believe me, many who remember playing 04-06 will do the same thing I mentioned here. Guilds and players will be vigilant on who they run with.

Classic is not as disposable with the ease of leveling that retail is. Please keep that in your thoughts. The community will govern itself quite well, I promise.

Look at Noustaurius’s expertise. There the Europeans, Brazilians and Russians behave very well. Even Americans (and to be honest, you’re a weird people). also played without problems. Frankly less racism …

Is it really racist to expect a server where players can speak the same language? League of Legends have servers for NA, Northern and Southern LA, Brazil, Eastern and Western Europe…

Shouldn’t that be the standard?

Can we shut up about the racism nonsense. This isn’t even a one-sided issue. I can’t imagine Brazilians want to play on a server with 200 ping, nor do they want to be on a server where most people don’t even speak their language. It’s literally a win-win for both sides if we get an SA server.

As i have said before, we don’t have enough people playing Classic to justify a server located here. Also, most people do understand what you say, you are the ones who don’t speak our language, not the other way around.

The random strawpoll for Brazilian players on this forum has over 1k votes alone. Since that’s obviously not the entire population (just one country), I can see SA easily having 5k players. That’s enough for a server. Hell, Korea has their own server… why can’t SA have their own?

I love how there are people here trying to justify BR moving to Thalnos and all OP was suggesting was a Latin American server for the BR players, which makes sense.

OP, just let them play on Thalnos. Most people are already avoiding this server because they don’t want to end up on Azralon 2.0. Play on Herod (streamers) or Faerlina (if you want to play with Spanish players). Otherwise, just pick a west coast PvP server and avoid all this drama.
