Limit the amount of enemies that can be hit by an aoe?
Reset mobs if they don’t hit a player/pet within a certain timeframe?
No exp for players that don’t participate in an encounter?
Healing runes only provide healing based on arcane missile damage.
Number of mobs that can be hit by an AoE should always have been limited to say 4 or 5.

Doesn’t need to be against the TOS to make balance changes. I believe the topic goes against the spirit of the game and needs to be fixed in some way.
Having Living Flame heal was an obvious mechanic interaction leading to the 150+ elite dungeon pulls that we’ve seen. So obvious that it was clearly made with the intention of allowing mages to solo entire dungeons. With it being the intention, I doubt they change their mind about their intention.
I have heard that there’s some weird batching interaction while the heal is active, making it impossible to die even if you get swung on by 100 elites at once. If they fixed that weird batching mechanic then mages wouldn’t be able to face tank 100+ elites, they would just get 1 shot.
The game has change, i understand if you against [GDKPs] that is a way to gold laundry, but mage boosting requires skill unless it using hacks, I don’t know how boosting affects the player base.
On the contrary, the requirement to increase the content for solo players in an MMORPG is what really affects the spirit of the game.
instead of nerfing mage boosting and farming personally i think we should nerf BM again

A conversation is a sharing of ideas that constantly evolves as it goes on. When one person wants clarification of a, or the, point I’m trying to make, I then make it more clear for them. To insist on quoting a singular post made early in the topic that says one thing you don’t like and was not a representative of the real argument I was actually trying to make is shortsighted and disingenuous. The post, or sentence, in question was a subtle remark on the position of fairness from a general perspective, which has long since been elaborated on.
