Boycott ... Warmode?

Probably not, because now that they have have announced the gear reward is being nerfed next week, probably most of the Alliance not interested in WM for PvP will stop using it. Meaning it will go back to what is was like before the incentives.

I mean they admitted even with the current incentives, we were still not even close to even in participation, without it things will just go back to what it was.

Most definitely, I can’t stand the fact that faction tension between players is getting worse and worse over it. I don’t like the idea of one faction having an upper hand over the other, with no real equivalence between the two.

When they answered my question in the Q&A about whether the team say the balancing as a failure or not, they seemed fairly certain is what heading towards a balance. Honestly I think they’re being overly optimistic, once Alliance start losing majority again they’ll just leave Warmode. I seriously doubt we’re ever going to hit a 10%/10% again unless they decide to change the system. Especially seeing as Horde already has a player majority to begin with, not to mention we’ve had the majority the entire expansion. I’m just saying, it’s almost been two full months and the numbers look the same, and participation feels the same.

So if the 400 was a mistake, will they nerf the 400 pieces already given out back to 385?

They said they weren’t going to nerf the already received loot, and after the Taloc fiasco I doubt they’d ever do something like that again.

No because it wasn’t a bug. It is similar to how they changed AH WF to have an ilvl requirement 3 days after it launched and didn’t the Horde side to remove gear from those that should have earned it.

They should, they won’t though.

It was no mistake. More shenanigans.

Actually no. What they should do is add a version of those quest for horde as to give equal reasons to do it. Just alliance getting less people to kill.

Wait so you think they should give the dominate faction an incentive to continue being the dominate faction? Clearly you are a balancing master mind!

No I would really like a reason to wpvp. That quest is good cause.

  1. It sets a goal for loot.
  2. Gives you a reason to kill people and toggle warmode (10% extra resources is like nothing for pvpers)
  3. Give me a reason to play the game in a more dangerous mode… like I am more casual now. Why do I want to go kill alliance attacking me when I can turn off warmode? Blizzard stated they want less people on horde pvping and this was a way to do it but it’s just giving me another reason to play the game, I really enjoy my pvp in overwatch with = power, mmos aren’t appealing to me anymore.

You want a reason to do World PvP? How about for the PvP alone, we don’t need terrible incentive systems to get people to commit to World PvP when they’d normally opt out of it entirely.

That is the problem with the current WM. Right now it is not balanced and the Horde have the numbers advantage. Thus why the Alliance are receiving the incentives and not the Horde. If you give the domination faction the same incentives, even more Horde who aren’t interested in the 10% bonus will join and ALL the Alliance will leave.

Here is a idea! If you don’t want us getting the gear for the quest stop dying. Get your groups together and use your numbers. If you don’t like the Alliance receiving the incentives and not the Horde. That’s a simple fix as well. Play Alliance! Then you will get the boost as well.

That’s not my problem. (That’s blizzard’s). I am just expressing my feelings toward the quest implementation. I am not concerned with faction balance. I have found pvp to be enjoyable despite factions in Legion, especially the FFA arenas. Those also felt rewarding. Currently it does not feel this way in BFA.

Alliance get loot from kills, horde gets nothing. There’s no reason to even participate in pvp right now if you’re horde.

Which is why you don’t have the incentives. Because unlike you they are actually starting to care about faction balance.

They are trying to get horde players to switch to alliance by leveling. It’s okay but it’s not the perfect fix for both sides imo.

I’ll repeat it for you.

You want it on your Horde to bad!

I’m not going to support the idea of incentives towards spending money on faction transfers, I play Horde mainly for the Races.
