Recently leveled hunter and I love using a gun over a bow. Though throughout my history with wow, all hunters use bows (mostly)
Do you guys not like crossbows or guns? Or just like bow or the feeling of arrows better? A friend of mine says the old gun sound effects were much better, though I don’t remember what they were because the only time I used a gun was warrior in bc which was too long ago.

I can’t recall ever using a crossbow. All hunters I have made have used bows with the exception of my mechagnome - she has a gun that fits the heritage armor scheme as though it was part of it.
I use the best weapon I possess. The only appearance and sound that matters is the appearance of wounds on my target, and the sound of them dying.

I played hunter for about 10 years and literally never once equipped a gun. I refused to use it - the sound effect sucks, the animations suck, etc.
I don’t play my hunters as much anymore, but they’ve still never used guns.
I like Crossbows. It’s a good middle ground between primitive and modern ranged weapons.
In order of preference, for me it’s bows > crossbows > guns
I would like bows a lot more if we had quivers. It’s so dumb how we just shoot invisible arrows.
We used to have quivers. They took up a bag slot and only carried a limited amount of arrows because arrows could only go in quivers. I don’t think I need to go into how annoying that could be when running long dungeons or raids.
To me depends on the race. Elfs to me are more inclined to use Crossbows and bows.
Orcs, dwarves, and humans are more incline to use guns.
Depends on the character, the weapon, and how I’m feeling at the time. Sometimes I feel stealthy, so I prefer the bow. Sometimes I like the impact of the gunshot. Otherwise, how the race carries the weapons matter.
Still, I don’t much care for crossbows. They just don’t feel right to me.
2nd Amendment covers bows as well as guns.

I play an elf, so I always transmog to a bow. I don’t like the animation of the crossbow and the sound of the gun annoys me after a bit. If I played a different race, though (goblin or dwarf for guns, human or undead for crossbow) I would be more inclined to use something else.
Edit: And yeah, there used to be quivers and ammo. It was crazy, looking back, having to make triple sure I had enough arrows before a raid, so I didn’t embarrass myself, lol. At least the Legion appearances do give you the appearance of quivers.
Depends, humans and Draenei have a good crossbow reload animation. I’ll use a crossbow on one of them. Otherwise, depends on the look I’m going for.
Depends on the race. Dwarf = gun, Elf = Bow, Orc/Human = Either etc
They need to improve the standing animations for guns and crossbows. It looks stupid holding them perfectly perpendicular to the ground.

Bows - Elves, Darkspear
Crossbow - Humans
Guns - Dwarfs, Gnomes, Tauren
Vulpera use guns.
I am liking this, not because I agree, but because it was funny and made me cackle.
Had a bow for a bit, miss the gun. Fits the gnome perfectly. Be nice if Blizz had other pvp options. Looks like the raid vendors are also about the bow.
