Bought US WoW Instead of EU – Can I Transfer My Account

I accidentally bought the US version of WoW instead of the EU one. I’ve been playing on US servers with around 140-150ms ping, but after the latest patch, my ping has increased to 160-200ms, making the game unplayable.

I’ve put a lot of effort into my account—I have five characters, around 100 mounts, and I’ve spent a month grinding for the Mage Tower for my Druid. Buying a new account isn’t an option for me right now.

Is there any way to transfer my account to EU? If not, would it be possible to at least transfer two of my characters to EU instead of starting over

No, I’m afraid not, Morgulpald. Our systems do not allow for accounts to be transferred between regions or for characters to transfer between them either. Sorry.

You may wish to visit our Technical Support forums, perhaps the folks who hang out there can help troubleshoot the connection issues you are having to improve them.

I’m afraid there is no way to transfer them, and I doubt given what y ou stated about effort in account you could request a refund.

This does not look like an accident to me, rather, you regret your purchase. As you’ve extensively played the game - you say you have 5 toons, 100 mounts and a month grinding the game for a reward.

An accident would be: I bought the wrong item and realised it immediately and made a refund request asap without opening (or in case of digital, playing the game.) the package.

I understand your perspective, but my situation is a bit different. When I first bought the game, I didn’t realize the long-term impact of playing on US servers instead of EU. At first, the ping was playable, but after the recent patch, it has become significantly worse, making it very difficult to enjoy the game.

If I had noticed this issue right away, I would have requested a refund immediately. However, since I’ve already invested time and effort into my account, I’m now looking for a possible solution rather than starting over. That’s why I’m asking if there’s any way to transfer my account or at least some of my

There is nonoptimal solution due to legal reasons eu and na are 2 seperate games and cant be connected in any way have you tried a vpn.

Yeah, I actually tried using a VPN, but it made my internet even slower. Unfortunately, internet connections in Egypt have a lot of issues, so a VPN doesn’t seem to be a reliable solution for me

If the purchase had been VERY recent (like in the past day or two) refunds or something might be possible, but you would still have to start over in EU. There is no connection between the regions, and nothing can be transferred between them. I’ll never say never, but given how old the game is and that people have been requesting this from day one and it’s never happened, it probably won’t. There are both technological and legal hurdles.

Sadly, at this point you have only a few options available to you. You can attempt to resolve the latency issue on your end, attempt to play the game with your current issues, start fresh with a account more appropriate to your region or stop playing.

I understand your frustration and the effort you placed into the game and not wishing to start fresh.

If this was something you realized within a very short span of time, you most likely could of received a refund. But at this time your options are very limited and none of them are ideal.

I do wish you the best of luck though
