i can handle other issues , like a class got nerfed a bug here and there but botting and no customer support? naw this has turned complete garbage and nothing is being done about it. every weekend its the same thing!
We in fact don’t pay them to do their job.
We pay for server access nothing more. Quite literally in the tos you signed, is a statment that your sub is that and only that.
Them doing anything more than keeping the server up and running is a bonus. They tend to give that service as a bonus as good pratice to keep people. Wow players thou have shown they will stay in the current state of the game as such they don’t need to do as much.
You yourself is a price example of that the botting situation is nothing new it’s been like this all tbc and even in van. It’s no different in retail and has been like that for awhile. Yet you are here posting as such you got an active sub and as such living proof that you’re still willing to pay.

Blizzard should bsn botters, not for us. Not because we’re entitled and think this or that but because of there own practices and standards. Anything that makes their product look bad like ninja looting as well should be banned. Ive been on the line about buying df but when all this botting going on and gold selling, it just makes Blizzard look bad and in good faith i can’t invest my money in their products as they’ve shown they don’t care about their own products.
The problem is 1 of 2 things:
1 - Blizzard dosn’t care to ban bots. Every bot had to buy a subscription. Banning bots means they won’t be opperating next month unless they buy another sub. Which, brings me to point 2.
2- Blizzard has already come out a few years back stating they really don’t know how to solve the bot issue. It’s not as simple as “ban the bots,” because these bots often A- already have multiple accounts to run from, so banning 1 out of 15 accounts doesn’t solve the issue. B- Even if blizzard managed to ban every single bot, the amount of gold they’ve made and sold; the amount of accounts they’ve leveled and sold can easily fund another 12 accounts. So banning all their current accounts doesn’t really matter, they’ll just be back up and running tomorrow with another dozen accounts. It was simply a minor setback for them. Even if they did want to ban bots, they do not have the dedicated manpower to ban every single bot. Each bot report would require a GM to actually LOOK into the activity, and when tickets have 13 day wait times, by the time the ticket gets looked at, it’ll probably be an automated message. Even if it wasn’t, and by some miracle it was a real GM handling the ticket; now the GM has to wait around for that account to log in, then they have to spend the time to watch for illegal action, etc etc. Banning ONE bot is a 2 week long process.
While I know we can all come up with ways for Blizzard to actually ban the bots and have success, truth is, if it was that simple, they would have done it if they seen benefit for THEM to do it. They don’t do anything because they literally can’t do anything that also benefits them. Banning the bots only hurts their bottom dollar. The few thousands of real players that might quit over botters fails in comparison to the amount of active bot subscriptions across WoTLK and Retail. Blizzard doesn’t care, as long as those bots are paying their $15 each month.
I killed the same 3 bots in AV riding their mounts through the same path over and over never changing and never fighting back…

How is telling someone blizzard dosent care and won’t do anything Shilling. That’s the exact opposite you tool. That dose nothing to make the company look good, it dose do the opposite thou which kinda goes directly adverse to shilling.

Fact is if he wants something done voting with his wallet is the only way to get it done. As it is us voting with our wallets that let blizzard get to the current level of giving less support since we have shown we are fine with paying at that level vs the old level. Fact is support is not included with the sub so not entitled to it. If you want to keep the bonus show that it’s required to keep you as a player otherwise you are giving blizzard the info of what there doing is fine.
That’s not shilling that’s telling him his only option.
