Thanks for the great changes blizzard! However, I still think you need to go further. Many rmt/botting discords are coming up with new ways to still do degenerate dungeon farms.

Increasing gold selling through sites and decreasing legitimate ways to farm gold isn’t a great change. All Blizz did was make botting and illegal gold sales more popular and ruin gameplay for players.
This change will have nothing but a negative impact on the game.

Botters are happy; they make a few pathing/under-the-hood changes to the software, and they are good to go. Aside from that - they can charge more for gold via RMT now.
Scarcity = higher prices. Inability for players to farm gold = more people utilizing RMT.
For botters, its win/win. Don’t think they haven’t planned for these changes for months.

To make way for the WOW Token in Wrath!
I saw a suggestion here to massively inflate the gold costs and rewards in wrath that I really liked. Inflate the economy so much that the people who have dealt with RMT in any way or have gotten gold cap aren’t at this advantage.
I am loving all these whining posts right now. Mage after mage after paladin after paladin lining up to cry that they are being forced to join the rest of us in the open world lol

Which would put every casual player at a massive disadvantage.
The mobs teleport to the player now. Also, those kind of exploits are more easily blocked. Inability to farm gold?? Every class but paladin and mages have been farming gold in the open world for the past 3 years. Easy on the hyperbole.
You’ll be fine. The game will be much better overall with inflation under control

Don’t lump me in there dude - I make my gold by multiboxing. I KNOW I’ll be fine. 
Dang it that’s why I am behind and poor…I am neither a mage or paladin or been farming gold in the open world…this is why I can’t go the GDKPs because my 1k budget is too low

Gold buyers really don’t care about this. They’ll still buy gold.
These changes disproportionately effect legit players who don’t cheat. One of the best methods of self farming in the game was clearing stratholme solo. That’s no longer possible at the same rate.
The fact is, gold buyers still win in this scenario. Bots still exist. Gold selling still exists. The only thing they did was make it harder for legit players to farm gold by actually playing the game.
I get the hate for boosting, botting, and gold buying, but the damage was done a long time ago. You can’t fix it this late in the game cycle without hurting ordinary players in the process.
Gold buyers continue to get ahead, and regular players lose a legit way to farm gold. If anything this will lead to more gold buying.
