Bots in Battlegrounds. Report them. It’s a fun killer and for other obvious reasons.
Last BG we did ironically win with 3 Prot Pally bots. I wonder how many the other side had. Maybe nothing will be done since Blizzard might make more money with them than without.

Players have been reporting them for years. It’s futile when they are replaced faster than the time it takes Blizzard to do anything. You may as well be pulling weeds by hand. Blizzard actually helped create this problem by stupidly selling an instant max level boost. Botters probably buy 99% of those. Meanwhile Blizzard and its sycophantic followers want to claim no currency/profit is made from selling this. The obvious contradiction simply does support the propaganda.

Blizzard could actively detect bots if they wanted to, but they want that sweet bot sub money.

Yeah. It’s pathetic. I saw these same prot pally’s last BG after this post. I was almost done taking Farm in AB. They run up and both try to take it in unison. Preprogrammed of course.
Pretty sure they’re botting BGs because you make about 1110 gold per 4 k honor via selling the 47 honor weapons for 13.05 gold each.
Just make all honor pieces vendor for 1 copper, problem solved.
It’s actually in blizzard’s best interest to fix this, this directly lowers their token sales.
Oh and blizz if you do a half-assed job and only nerf the 47 honor weapons, people will just move onto the 70 honor weapons. And so on and so forth.

Grand Marshal’s Longsword is 8g60s and costs 25 honor. Decent little gold farm by spamming 5 minute AV’s.

I feel you on that. I genuinely do. I swapped factions because I was losing my mind over the amount of paladin bots. It’s a ridiculous waste of time and you know nothing’s being done about it.
I’m pretty sure I was in those games yesterday, and it’s only made worse when someone on your team caps stables, because we’re gonna farm that graveyard for 15 minutes.
Feel like there’s fewer bots now than there has been in the last two years. I honestly feel like the only time I see any bots is EoTS and AB and it’s usually only one or two every few games.
Yeah there’s definitely fewer bots atm. But it probably takes them a awhile to update their scripts / programs / AI / whatever to the newest cata patch. So we’ll see.
I think some are taking bad or apathetic players as bots.
Generally the quality of pvp goes down before release. Honor drives people. To the pojnt of “let them win” is real common.
At this point I have given up on wg defence. I can go in knowing we lose most times.
I will stand in the cy with 15 people. See the rest do tower kill quest.
And laugh….as worst case 1 tower has died before the Zerg breaks the door. All for a crap 24 honor quest.
Maybe the next is offence I go. Often.

Blizzard run the bots to make ques faster. Que popping every 5 minutes with bots is better then 2h+ que times with no bots.
Same as they now have bot dungeon ques on retail now.
Terrible take. Blizz knows if its BGs are nothing but bots it will lose subs. It is just a hard problem to solve
Blizz also knows if ques do not pop people say the game is dead if players think the game is dead they stop playing making ques slower cycle repeats untill it is actually dead. Same thing happens when que times a long for dungeons people think games dead
