Today I was doing a few Arathi Blizzard battlegrounds and in two groups a few people mentioned something about bots, specifically in one of the groups they said something similar to (paraphrasing), “I think we’re fighting humans this time not bots like a few of the others.”
It wasn’t one group there were two different occasions that was mentioned. Does Blizzard have bots or game AI or something as the opposing groups or do they sometimes fill in members of groups with NPCs in the battlegrounds?
i think he was referring to the alliance play style, not Ai’s

lmao!!! So true, its hard to tell these days with how bad alliance is in BGs… Yesterday I witnessed 50% of my team in AV stop at hordes GY down south and spend 5 minutes fighting an NPC while up north we lost all our towers…
I don’t know…I am going to sound like a crazy person saying this but I swear I have done about 15 battlegrounds between today and yesterday and I have encountered a team that did the exact same thing in a strange coordinated way. It was so coordinated and consistiennt that I could easily predict exactly what was happening and even stopped fighting a few times because I knew I was safe.
They were like robots all rushing the Lumber Mill first. All fought in the weird ways like jumping off the cliff, weaving in and out of visibility to cover each other. I mean, the first time it looked like a normal group of players but when it’s scripted so well that I can stand in the middle of the 7 of them and not die…I literally stopped fighting and tab-targeted them one-by-one to try and see if I could pull their attention towards me but it never worked…they did the exact same fight sequence no matter what I did.
Things were so predictable that I never lost one fight.
There were never strategic moves. you know, like we take stables if they assault the farm. A one-for-one swap to throw them off. Or, another strategy would be to go in a circle with the entire team zerging everything…there are so many strategies but nobody ever used strategies they always went Lumber Mill, assault Blacksmith, when we defend Blacksmith we wipe them, they res and assault the Mines, we defend the Mines and they assault the Lumber Mill, we defend the Lumber Mill…blah blah blah…the exact same thing and never changed.
I swear I’m not drinking anything or doing drugs haha…I swear to god it looked completely scripted as if in a video game preprogrammed to run.
