I just want to complain about the inaction and complete failure to deal with bots in World of Warcraft. It’s shameful that they are so rampant throughout every server in every version of the game. It’s clear that Blizzard absolutely could do something meaningful to resolve the problem but choose to ignore it because bots pay subscriptions too.

Try farming herbs or mining nodes in ZC. Bots always infest the end game zone of an expac. It makes your personal gameplay worse. This isn’t even up for debate.
Yeah, until they make the crafting profs either useful for ilvl or fun for cosmetics, I’m pretty casual about gathering. Someone else got there first? Shucks.
Lol…LITERALLY just said 10 seconds ago that making my Lootarang usable at cata eng 70 hasnt stopped a single stinking bot. Theyre still running around evidently.
Devs and designers are not the ones that would do that work. It would be the coders.
I am sure they can walk and chew gum at the same time.

been playing classic hardcore recently, I’ve reported 10 bots I’ve noticed so far, 1-2 days after each report I’ve received a mail from customer service saying thank you and that action has been taken.
are yall just not reporting bots?

As long as there are so many people defending the bot plague or even embracing it gladly, it’s only going to get worse, as it has in the previous months. AH bots don’t even try to hide anymore, they do it in the most obvious way and it still takes Blizzard months to ban them, if they ban them at all.

I honestly, truly, would not know how to spot a bot. I didn’t know how in 2003, 2013, or now. Admittedly, I’m very self absorbed.

Edit: Went to ZC, farmed about 27 nodes of herbs and ore, saw one other person collecting anything. Could be a server/time issue I suppose but I’d imagine that bots would be active anytime, given they are automatic.
