i just reported blizzard to the BBB and i am considering to also reporting them to the FTC for failing to uphold their own TOS.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Blizzard Entertainment’s Failure to Enforce Terms of Service

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to file a complaint against Blizzard Entertainment for failing to enforce their Terms of Service (TOS) and address widespread botting issues in their games, including World of Warcraft and Diablo IV.

As a paying customer, I, like many others, pay a monthly subscription fee of approximately $15, totaling $180 annually for World of Warcraft alone. This does not include additional purchases such as expansions or in-game items. Blizzard Entertainment is obligated to provide a quality gaming experience, including fair competition and anti-cheating enforcement, as outlined in their TOS.

However, botting has become a pervasive issue, disrupting in-game economies, monopolizing resources, and undermining fair play. These bots have rendered competitive aspects meaningless, leaving legitimate players frustrated and disillusioned. Despite repeated community reports of these problems, Blizzard has taken minimal, if any, action to address the issue or communicate their efforts to resolve it.

Blizzard’s failure to enforce their TOS and lack of transparency demonstrate a disregard for the commitments they have made to their paying customers. The nature of this dispute is clear: players are paying a significant amount for a service that Blizzard is failing to deliver as promised.

I urge Blizzard Entertainment to take immediate corrective actions by enforcing their TOS, implementing stricter anti-botting measures, and providing transparent updates to the community. As customers, we deserve accountability and a gaming environment free from cheating, particularly when paying a premium price.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope this complaint will prompt action to address these long-standing issues.

Sincerely,
[Your Full Name]

if enough of us do this, maybe something will change, but its pretty clear that if we dont do anything then nothing will change.

Correction…

Bots everywhere on anniversary servers.

walls work. see the wall Poland has with Belarus.

Pvp server tax

Most of you believed that gigantic lie they spewed out about most of the bots playing on “stolen” accounts even though there are literally ZERO threads on reddit or discoord about their stolen accounts.

And then added that “paypal chargeback” bs so they could act like ban waves weren’t just a horse and pony show.

Walls without oversight do not work. And that’s at the heart of the problem - Blizzard’s oversight is practically nonexistent.

you’ll just have to find a real job, man. it’ll be okay. we all work for a living.

Not really a violation of their ToS when they ban for breaking that ToS lol

i guess thats why bots operate with impunity. blizzard has an obligations to uphold their terms of service and issuing a few ban waves per year is not fulfilling that.

What would you rather them do? Release their coding on how they find bots and allow the bots to navigate around that? Ban anyone who is accused of being a bot even if they’re not? They do ban waves for a reason.

Your’e being unrealistic.

Block VPNs too.

Assuming Nightslayer players only play on Nightslayer they’re making $750,000/mo in sub fees from just nightslayer players going off of the low estimate of players(It’s between 50-70k/players online at any one time).

You’re telling me it’s unfeasible for them to pay 6 people $3000/mo to police the server?
