In WoW, your time is worth a percent of a percent of a percent of nothing compared to your $$$.
Edit: best thing you can do is find a private server with like minded ppl that all adhere to a social contract. all else is chasing after the wind.
They used to have personnel on call for dealing with bots, gamemasters that would log on to watch players to see if they were indeed botting or not. The fundamental difference is that Activision-Blizzard is a different animal than the Blizzard of old and only sees a subscription fee, not a problem. $$$$$$
The issue is that they get so many false reports by people who have no idea how to spot bots but report hundreds of players a week like the OP that it’s hard to imagine they could do anything more than put that guy on ignore and go back to what they were doing.
Guys, It’s 2020. We have very advanced AI now. You realize there will be some bots so advanced that it would be impossible to distinguish them from humans.
Robots passed the Turing test over a decade ago. They are more than capable of playing this game (according to the rules I might add) just by analyzing the video input and issuing keystrokes. They can act human, they can respond to you, they can do anything you could do and more.
The war on bots is lost, the most they can do is find and ban the obvious ones and the paid ones that are being sold for profit.
At this point you should be even more worried about interacting with robots disguised as humans in your day to day life.

While I am not a Mechagnome I must call this thread and OP out for it’s blantant racism… The unjustified hatred toward bots is simply disgusting. Please remember that Mechagnomes are more then just bots, they are people too and have a program to mimic feelings too!.
Yeah they truly need to fix the bots! they all seem to be 111 boomkin druids too or multiboxers taking advantage of minning and herbing the same node! i’ve been banded for the name pwnsht but exploiting the game come on now! that name wasnt hurting anything but these bots are destroying the game! Should remove layering too numerous alliance are using it to exploit naz! also layering makes it harder to log over on opposite faction to kill a bot! should fix all of this before releasing another map with 5 new areas cata/mist/warlords/bfa! #golfclap
shouldn’t be able to multi box they too are exploiting just as bad as the bots 3-5 people minning the same node is a unfair advantage clearing states it it TOS!
If they are bots report them, if they are multi boxers then don’t.
