FOR REAL WHAT A HELL?!?!?!

for the past few days I being reporting bots all around kul’tiras… it got to a point when i decided to stay just on drustvar and i manage to report on 1 hour at least 72 people who were on groups of at least 5-8 people farming materials…

afterwards I went to look for some mogs to outlands… guess what the dungeon the botanica was being farm by more demon hunters than I ever seen in my life… reported 100 of them.

Doing some rough calculations (please correct me if im wrong im not that good at math) the dungeon gives you around 280-300 gold per run( 10-15 min run) thats 1200 gold and hour lets say they run the dungeon 24 hours. thats 28.000 gold day.

Im asuming they use at least 10 bots per person or something similar… thats 288k of gold a day… like i said i stand there for at least 1 hour reporting this and counted more than 100 bots, that is at least 3m of gold from farmers of dungeons.

on the meanwhile regular players have no chance of earning gold because the economy is overinflated… becuase today when i went to sell 2 hours of mining farming (300 mon and 280 silver) the bots posted 1200 mon 8 gold each…

I know this is a rant but we are paying for a service… and to be honest this got to the point that i dont wanna play any more.

It’s a neverending battle that Blizzard cannot win. They break the bot program and a new one is written and the cycle continues.

My apologies for not knowing about the subject. The point im trying to make clear is that blizzard need to do something about this. we can reported but they need to create an intimidate response team.

You’re not going to like the responses your going to get. Botting is against the TOS, multiboxing is not. I can have 10 accounts and run then all at the same time and that’s ok with blizz. If I set a program too run those accounts while I’m away from my PC that is not ok.

i tried talking to this people… no answer. they are bots on multiboxing. the sincronization necesary to run 8 accounts mine the same thing at the same time and then mounting and moving to the next vain without a delay is imposible for a single person unless they are using an external program.

You can use third party software that will copy your keystrokes to your other accounts. As long as you are pushing the button blizzard said it’s ok.

It’s always been that way. So long as someone is at the computer pushing buttons blizzard doesn’t care. Can’t say I agree but it is what it is.

This isnt even about multiboxing this is about bots. Yes go log on right now and you will see them you can tell the difference between the two it isnt hard.

I’m not worried about what covered on the news and social media about everything that is wrong with the world. Bot’s,Trump,school shootings etc…

I’m very very worried about what you don’t see,hear or read about. This problem is on a human primal level. Where would human beings be if currency did not exist ?

So there is nothing we can do about it? reporting is in vain and there is no hope that blizz will help the player base? wow that is just sad

Why would blizzard care about bots? They have shown they do not and this won’t change anytime soon. They make money off the botters and that is that. Who cares about the playerbase?

People can claim that subs are being lost because of pet battles or whatever they make up, but fact is people don’t want to play a game that is fixed and where cheaters run rampant without punishment… and they sure don’t want to pay for it.

Fact is they have your money and your sub, i highly doubt they really care about it and it shows.

This is the main reason i don’t pay for the game i just farm gold to pay for everything. I would never put my money in to support this game while this happens. Also i don’t care about the claims that blizz makes more money off of me… that is not true… some other sucker that buys gold pays for it.

Just my opinion. :sunglasses:

Reporting it is not a bad thing. If they really are bots, it will help Blizzard gather data to break them (eventually; they tend to wait til they have a really solid bot detector and then do a big ban wave). But if they’re really multiboxers then probably nothing will happen.

Ban waves are happening once a year if that. Does nothing. Botters are fully prepared to get banned and just go buy another account with the gold they made and start up where they left off.

The last ban wave that hit botters big time was in legion after argus was released. (Friday the 13th banwave) Botter ban waves are once a year after the new no fly zone is made and released. It will happen again this time then another year of watching them all get away with it for an entire year. Worst thing is when proven they are botting they only get a temp suspension, not even a ban.

It feels like going to a crooked casino to gamble. Best off the avoid it entirely until they take rules seriously.

Yea it has been kind of strange… I’ve been seeing large groups of the other faction in and around the dailies areas… I’ve never seen that before when out and about. But they’re definitely not multiboxing, I can tell the difference.
