So…you were fine with the imbalanced racials for PVE content in Classic towards the Alliance, but the minute the pendulum swings in the Horde’s favor for BC
We want to make sure we maintain faction identity, but also realize that there’s an imbalance between the Horde and Alliance paladin Seals…To address this, the Horde and Alliance will still get their faction-specific Seals at level 64, but when they reach level 70, they’ll also be able to get the opposite faction Seal as well.
Is there a special Alliance faction bonus “Dev Influencer” that I’m not aware of?
OK at the end of the day this affects one class and it’s a simple change it’s fine Speaking from someone that played as a blood elf paladin back in the day.
I personally always felt that both factions should have had both because I always felt it was really stupid that alliance got the worst seal just because their alliance.
On top of that let’s not fool ourselves here horde population is going to go up dramatically because of the power of the racial’s.
In pvp and pve Well of the fursaken, Blood fury and command, And the both of those can be hunters and warlocks.
I think a better way to say it is blizzard doesn’t want to give players any more reasons to roll horde.
I think of anything they should buff alliance racial’s because I would be very very surprised if we don’t see at least a 30% increase of horde population across-the-board.
I think this is a good change for pvp servers. I have a buddy on my server that has rerolled alliance. Hes raiding with one of the best guilds on the server. He told me last week most of his guild are rerolling horde in TBC because of stuff like belf rets doing 20% more sustained dps than alliance rets. Among other things.
Im hoping stuff like this common sense and needed change help dissuade some allys from rerolling to horde on pvp servers.
Horde had vastly better PvP racials and still will in TBC, where it matters even more. PvE content was never hard in Classic and the racials are therefore less impactful. That said, they are reducing the effectiveness of Alliance PvE racials while making Horde PvE racials better in TBC by how the game worked back then.
You also get the best tanking seal in exchange, so stop whining.
