Because they all read a guide in a forum that you gain a tiny bit more xp/h there than anywhere else.
Ignore the sheep and just enjoy Northrend.
Warriors go prot and spam revenge for like 5k damage. Ez exp

Tiny bit is an understatement. Twice as fast as questing and dungeon spamming. Mob grinding is probably close if your sweaty min max about it ie repair bots every 45 mins or so consumes summoning system andports
Blood dks,ret and prot pallies can solo the trash mobs for big xp. About 30 mins per run

Okay, so what you do is, right-click on any name on your friends list, click “whisper” in the drop-down menu, and then type the following:
“Dude, why is everyone in Botanica?”

This Botanica spamming grants people who can do it a faster means by which to level to 80, and it’s one of the ways that several realm first 80’s were achieved. People are curious about it and trying it out in larger numbers b/c of that during week 2.
Thank you for that great idea, i had whispered several of them and none answered. Now i see it is because they were mindlessly farming mobs for hours on end and probably had youtube miniplayer going

It sounds boring af to me, and I say that as someone who did 450 fishing before I did a single quest on launch day.
