Boosts in TBC won't only ruin the game economy, all of western civilization is at stake

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand how boosts will ruin TBC. The effects at the beginning will be extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of TBC and game economies most of most of this post will go over a typical player’s head. There’s also my nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into my understanding of this playerbase - my personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The educated gamers understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these points I am laying out, to realise that they’re not just pragmatic - they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who like/want Boosts truly ARE idiots - of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the gridlock experienced in Magni’s prophetic catchphrase “Watch your back” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s [Russian] epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as my genius wit unfolds itself on your computer screens. What fools… how I pity them. :joy:

And yes, by the way, I DO have a TBC tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid :sunglasses:

I can see how allowing wide open boosting will create some issues, but allow me to give a counter argument.

I played a BE Pally first time around, but had to start from scratch and stay with my warrior in order to keep up, so missed all the BC content with the pally. I’d like to be “in the mix” this time with the pally, but if I can’t boost one, I’m going to have to go back through classic all over again, end up way behind the game.

A solution for me would be to be able to faction change a 60 alliance pally, but it does not seem as if they are going to allow that either. In short, BEs and Drs will really not exist in TBC, except for those power levelers who have tons of time.

…maybe I’m missing a reason here. Heck, I’m still trying to figure out why all my chars were downgraded, or vanished.

It’s some kind of satirical troll post, but my IQ is too low to grasp it’s true meaning. The onslaught of stupid posts in the new TBC forum has them all coming out.

Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria! " -Ghost Busters.

I like the Cold Steel reference.

As yet undiscovered tribes living deep in the Amazon rainforest will have their way of life destroyed if we allow TBC boosts to go ahead.

I’m not really in favor of boosts but great post nonetheless  :raised_hands: :+1:

I’d be far more concerned about the La Nina current causing a more volatile and intense tornado season.

One boost per account, unusable on Belfs/Dranei, ain’t gonna hurt anything.

Sure just like what the captain said " a little bit of ice won’t hurt anything"

Hey guys, I just watched a streamer who quoted some website that said level boosts will weaken the crust over the Yellowstone supervolcano.
