Funny how 99% of people advocating for Character Boosts are people who spend 99% of their time on Retail. Let the Majority of the true Classic Players speak for ourselves without your infiltration because we all know you’ll just boost a character, level it to MAYBE 70, try a dungeon or two, and quit like you all did last time and crawl right back to Retail.
I like how people keep complaining about a one time payed boost yet 99% of people leveling now are just paying for sfk, sm, mara, and zg boosts. Its already in the game lol.
that way they announced these decisions ugh… that lady in the middle, those two simps on the side. you got simp light on the left, rational and reasonable, and mega simp extra on the right literally panting and on a leash. then theyre like “i love playing my draenei shaman and doing jewelcrafting im such a systems nerd” im like oh god theyre gonna screw this up
where is your data for 99% of people PAYING for boosts? Just because you PAY people for your boosts does not mean anyone else does. lMAO. I do not know a single player who has paid or would ever consider paying for a boost, period. So start sourcing your data before you try to justify something with no backing.
Any data either of us presents is just going to be anecdotal evidence. However, trying to level a new druid and there are almost 0 people in the open world and there are 0 people actually trying to get legit instance groups started. Also almost everyone I know that is still playing the game boosts their alts.
Also none of this changes the fact that payed boosting is already in the game. The only change this brings is that blizzard is getting the money.
um, retail requires alot more effort to be good/competitive lmao
Not when it comes to leveling, and that is the discussion here. Thanks
Awesome, lower prices?!?
Your words:
“you are lazy and shouldn’t even be playing classic wow. I saw your other posts. You just want to be “good” without putting in the effort. There is retail for that.”
What about levelling makes one good? Killing x amount of y mobs? Spellcleaving down SM all day? Paying gold for boosts?
Nothing about levelling is skilful lmao get out with your trash bait
You are again literally going on a tangent about everything else other than Leveling. “Good” means being max level when it comes again, to leveling. A level 60 is better than a level 30. A level 60 takes longer to achieve then leveling to 15. You see where I am going with this? In retail, you can pay to boost characters whenever someone likes with IRL cash, without putting in the TIME and EFFORT to level their characters IN GAME. Please learn to read and comprehend better.
In TBC it’ll be paladins boosting, mage aoe gets nerfed hard.
Don’t like it then keep your character in Vanilla classic.
“If you don’t like something, don’t voice your opinion at all. I am right and you are wrong and therefore everyone else with another opinion must obey and accept, or not play”. Forums are for open discussion buddy.
I doubt that is true. I don’t play retail at all. Retail isn’t even on my computer. And I like leveling alts and doing 5 man dungeons more than 40 man raiding. I don’t advocate for a boost and wouldn’t care if it wasn’t added. Since I already have an alt of every class I’m not sure what I’ll use the boost for. But one boost per account isn’t a big deal. If you could buy as many boosted characters as you wanted then I’d see a problem.
I suspect that there are some who didn’t want to play classic who will come back to play BC with the boosted character and if there’s many of them that will be good for the game.
I think you’re being heavily over dramatic about this and need to sit down and take a breather. I really like the idea that they are doing the 58 boost. I have friends that hate vanilla but loved TBC and don’t want to have to slog through the horrific leveling experience that is vanilla wow.
Let’s face it. Vanilla leveling is and was terrible.
- The gearing while leveling was terrible.
- Leveling took waaaay too long.
- Most classes didn’t become fun to play until level 30+
- Most of the gear that made a class fun to play or feel powerful didn’t start appearing until the 50s.
It just altogether felt terrible and even Blizzard has admitted this in interviews.
Get over it.
Funny how you’re throwing a temper tantrum and stomping your feet like a child. I’ve been playing classic since launch, took a small break for school and then hit it again progressed part way through naxx.
Guess what? I welcome the boost.
Now I can level my rogue or boost it and level a shaman for resto or elemental raiding.

Umm That was the whole Classic experience. Sounds like you weren’t and aren’t too fond of WoW Classic, therefore proving my point about Retail advocates.
Did I say it wasn’t? What’s the point about complaining about something that won’t impact you? It’s sad.
It’s not that bad man. Just let’s people skip classic to play tbc.
It’s a 58 boost, not 70 boost. And only once.
Bruh, chill out. This isn’t as horrible as you think. It will help bring more people into classic, limiting it to one per account I think it can be something good. People who didn’t want to play vanilla but bc won’t have to go through a lot of leveling.
More people playing BC Classic is better. Especially for Blizzard.
