Boosting your existing toons?

can u use the boost on an existing player ? or is it just the one lvl 58 toon u create ?

You create a character, then you pay to boost it. It can be an existing character. But either way the toon has to be created to be boosted.

I’m not sure how it works, probably however it does in retail?

you create a new character.

i guess u can delete existing ones and take the name for the new one

So if I have a level 1 I’ve been shipping cloth to, I cant boost them?? That seems counter intuitive.

yeah it’s kinda lame but it’ll work like you’re creating a new character

i have an orc rogue that ive been keeping for bank slots and to reserve a name for the boost, im just gonna mail all the stuff to another character and delete when i want to use the boost

Ah ok, thanks for the clarification.

That should be fine

No, no, Bigfloppa is incorrect, assuming the boost works identically to the way it does to retail, you CAN boost existing characters

Yes.

Just can’t use it on a Belf nor Draenei.

Druid flying is not free They must still pay for the spell. Besides, you got a free level 40 mount by that thinking.

AND. This one is important

Boosts do NOT come with professions as a fresh boost.

Speculation is that if you have a level 20 toon with professions you will keep those professions at the same level they were before boosting.

But nice try on the misinformation train.

I wonder, can a complete tool boost their level 60 character to 58?

I want to say no, but the thought to even try has never crossed my mind-
