Are boosted characters unable to do access Class Quests?
I’ve boosted a rogue but am unable to find any of the starter quests for the Sunken Temple class chain from rogue trainers to go to ravenholdt, and ravenholdt has none of the intermediary quests in the chain either.
Are other boosted classes having this issue? I wonder if boosted warlocks are unable to do their dreadsteed quests etc, or if this was just an issue because the Sunken Temple quests were level 50 and leapfrogged by the boost.
I’m having the same issue on a boosted paladin. I can not get the starter quest for this chain.
you either want to do sub level 58 quests or you want to boost. working as intended /shrug
Yea I think the idea is that you are getting all that stuff passed over to focus on Outland stuff.
Can’t obtain this quest chain on a boosted druid and a buddies boosted mage cant pick it up either. I get nor caring about doing pre-58 content since TBC is right around the corner, but most if not every other quest sub 58 can be done by the boosted characters, why can’t boosted chars go back and do class specific content? I bought a boost to save time leveling an alt, I didn’t pay to not play the game. Was going to run it on a 56 shaman and the buddies boosted mage to help him get a quick upgrade before TBC goes live, but I guess we payed to not play some content together. Should probably just unsub instead of complaining here tbh.
Having same issue on boosted hunter. Completed the fallen hero of the horde chain in blasted lands (some of it was needed to unlock my warrior class quest). Trainers have nothing for me and Ogtinc in Ashzara has nothing.
Really wanted my trinket for my hunter.
The boost is so you can quickly hop into TBC and play with friends.
Otherwise you would have to finish levelling a toon or level from 1 too 60 which would take a lot of time and make you fall behind your friends.
They want you to get the boost to 60 so its ready to go for the Dark Portal opening.
So a boosted toon loses content from Classic? That cant be intentional. This is simply access to the class quest and yet every other quest is avail…
If they wanted you to dig deep into classic they would if made the 58 boost available a lot earlier.
and we stumble upon yet another Activision bug
So after some testing within the hunter classic discord - it appears that the reason these quests wont show is because they are flagged as completed.
Nothing to do with that at all bud, part of the 58 boost means you have auto completed class quests. Most likley an oversight with the way boost were created.
Actually, yes you did exactly that; bought a boost to not play certain portions of the game. Heartbreaking that you didn’t realize there were consequences to that. 
Why would you use a boost and think vanilla content is relevant to you?

Im leveling a Belf Rogue to get the leveling experience that has changed somewhat 1to60.
If you wanted to do low level quests just level a new toon like me.

Several of the basic Hunter quests that you would receive as you level are automatically completed, I don’t know if this is supposed to be one of them, Iaijutsu. I’ve forwarded the question, but it might be a good idea to post in the Classic Bug Report forum as well so that our QA team can take a look.

Update: Looks like we’re aware of that one, it isn’t intended from what I could find out and we hope to have a hotfix out as soon as possible.
