Boosted character on the wrong realm

Hi, this just happened to me with TBC. What was the outcome? I selected Rattlegore as my server, but after I boosted I ended up on Remolus. This is blasphemy.

If this just happened and you haven’t accessed the boosted character, put in a ticket to see if Blizzard is able to help. There is no guarantee though.

Well it’s worth a shot. I opened a ticket and so far blizz has been copy pasting answers despite misleading me. They told me I could xfer my character after 72 hours, but then now I’m being told I can’t do PVE to PVP transfers, wasting 20 hours of leveling.

They use templates. No secret there. It’s how to provide inform information.

Yes, that is a hard-coded cool down for services like transfers.

Yes, this has always been a thing in classic.

You never were able to do PvE to PvP back in Classic or TBC. You can go PvP to PvE, but never PvE to PvP. I’m trying to dredge up when this change was implemented (I think it eventually was?), but as of right now, it’s still at the point where it’s not allowed.

I’m not aware of any issues with boost which would result in the character ending up on the wrong server. The boost process starts on the Character Selection screen once you’ve selected a realm.

These two realms are on separate tabs in the list of available realms to play on. So it shouldn’t have been possible to simply miss-click two realms next to each other in the list.

It does look like you created and played some characters on Rattlegore in May. But at the start of June you created a new character on Remulos, then deleted that one and made the Rogue that you ended up boosting.
