Boosted character cannot access BFA Wartable

Hi,

So I boosted a character and I wanted to do the war campaign before I started SL. When you use a SL boost the first part of the war campaign is already done automatically which is nice however I cannot access the wartable to send followers on missions which is troublesome because the quest “Under False Colors” requires me to send someone on a mission. To unlock the wartable you need to do the beginning of the BFA stuff which was skipped. See the issue? I’m not sure how I can access the war table since the starting BFA quests aren’t available to me. Anyone know if this is a bug or if there is way around it?

according to the boost support article (which was updated less than 24 hours ago) it should be unlocked.

  • Battle for Azeroth World quests, islands, and warfronts are unlocked.
  • The mission table and followers normally gained through levelling up are unlocked.
  • The first chapter of the war campaign is completed.

Yeah I was reading this, which is why I’m very confused. I submitted a ticket. Hopefully they are able to help me. My War table right now is just a blank map of Zuldazar.

This thread is rather old, Robricht, and character boosts operate a bit differently for BFA content. If you take a look at the current Support Article it says:

Content from previous expansions must be unlocked through normal play:

  • Battle for Azeroth —Start the War Campaign by talking to the Hero’s Herald in Stormwind or Warchief’s Herald in Orgrimmar
  • Legion —Visit Dalaran to start the quest to unlock your Class Order Hall and to obtain your artifact weapon.
  • Warlords of Draenor —Visit the Dark Portal to start the quest to unlock your garrison.

For you, Robricht, assuming you are referring to this character, you have already started the BFA introduction.

If you look at Boralus you’ll see on the map you have an exclamation point there for “The War Cache”. I’d start there.

I’m going to lock this one up, but feel free to create a new thread if you still need a bit of guidance.
