I don’t know y’all, but whenever I get to 58, I’m instantly dreading leveling through Outlands due to how sluggish and tedious it is. Northrend is fast at least, but Outlands kills any momentum for me.
It’d be nice just to implement a 50% or 100% xp boost just through BC content. Then it can turn back off once you hit 68(70).
Thoughts?
do you complete every zone in Outlands?
RDF if it with some looms.
I cleared tbcc in 2 nights at about 2 to 2.5 hours a night. pvp weapon and shoulder looms. Guild helm and cloak. Rested xp burned off fast so it was not a factor after 62/63 really.
Just prepare to see ramps and pens…a lot. I was happy to see mana tombs come up once in while to break it up. Blood furnace made a few showings too.
xp required for tbc and wrath was reduced, with looms 2 dungeons and hellfire peninsula im 65 on an alt
Huh? XP required per level was cut significantly and you can fly at 60.
Quest two or three zones and it’s over.
I think it’s just Hellfire that I hate, lol. I’ve been trying to get heirloom shoulders and weapons, but Cata normals seem to be the only ones that drop JPs for em’ and it would take like 20+ runs just to get 1 wep, and about 15 runs to get a shoulder slot.
Outland doesn’t even take that long.
A few dungeon hits and you can move on to marsh, nagrand, what ever you fancy really. I don’t like its opening either lol.
I slowed down a bit as I needed its gathering later bits. Nagrand is ripe for skinning. as the wrath is hit the goal was to skin there too.
Its Better than killing hell boars anyway. And quests have it close by. So it was a 2 for 1 special.
You do hellfire and nagrand and move onto northrand, takes you a few hours.
Wait to 60 to go to outlands u cant get half the quests at 58 for hellfire you can literally go from 60 to 66 in hellfire.
I think OP just hates outlands and its making it seem worse than it is to them. Outlands is the shortest questing bracket throughout 1-85.
I believe 59 unlocks most quests.
58 is when its alive mostly.
you will see most intro quests. IIRC only the pvp 3 tower won’t show up till 60/61. But at this point, good luck not seeing those your colors for hours on most servers.

I don’t think I’ve ever completed a single zone fully in Outland… Maybe Netherstorm once at max-level for gold.
Actually 50-58 is the worst to me. Soooo tedious, few dungeons, and slooowwww experience gain.
Once I hit TBC I’m on a roll again.
Always found outland to be the better leveling experience than the old world. So its interesting to hear the opposite.
Wholeheartedly agree with this. Feels longer than it should.
If you get really lucky…you get people down for BRD prison party runs. You all just party resign up.
I got 2 crews on a sepate sessions this was jsut as smooth and cut and dry as it could get.
RDF kept feeding BRD…we kept on killing the inquisitor.
Now its boring as hell. But each session was about 3 levels at least for say an hour and some change. and loads of loot
and satchel rewards to sell off lol.
Just bring lots of caffeine. Its not thrilling. Its just faster xp.
Ring of blood after 65 and thats like 66.5. Finish up in Nagrand and poof! Done!
