Balance druids need better survival skills in arenas / solo shuffles. As soon as a balance druid has aggro, it’s pretty much over. It’s difficult to leave bear form and actually do damage while you are praying your healer heals you up enough to shift back to boomy and dps while keeping the enemy at a distance.
You need better nerfs. You legit have INSANE ccs and gap makers and you demand more? Be glad you have ironskin or whatever its called

Ya you basically never go bear form it’s useless. Personally I’d love a full second off cyclone and a buff to frenzy so it actually does something. I don’t like buffing barkskin because you can already use it during stuns so it’s pretty “idiot proof” (even if it’s a very weak defensive). Frenzy at least has a tradeoff of CCing you for 6 seconds to heal yourself.

TBH I think 4 seconds seems more reasonable considering how strong cyclone is. Most CC needs to be looked at again, the only things that really got toned down were stuns. Stuff like coil, mage roots, etc. all feel stronge than ever.

Respectfully disagree. Game is already really close to a PVE fest, and cyclone does have some pretty stringent requirements that DO impact its effectiveness. While this is usually a lazy argument, I do want to point out that when it was 1s shorter no one felt that it was imbalanced compared to other CC.

Boomi is almost off the table as a kill target.
There is like a damage threshold you have to meet or you just get punished for going on them. A friend who’s playing boomi has said he prefers melee on him because it increases is overall output. That’s a problem. I’d rather go on a lock or even s.priest over boomi.
If there is an arms on my team, boomi makes for a good target, but that’s true of all casters when you have sharpen on your side.
Cyclone so underpowered. Cyclone should be useable without breaking stealth, and in all forms, and Boomies should be able to cyclone themselves and their friends and NPCs AND battle pets.
I actually do fine in most cases aside from sub rogue.

There are some lobies that arnt winiable but its not because boomies dont have enough survivability but rather the combonation of cc the other teams has keepa you from casting so you cant switch forms and prance around the room in travel form like an elegant antelope.
Using frenzy is still a good option and it only last like 3 seconds. Also keeping in mind that if you are needing to use frenY you are likely taking heavy punishment or about to take it. Switching forms removes snares, gives more hp and armor plys 30% hp heal over 3 secs. Afterwords you can either bear charge to enemy healer for a stun/cyclone or travel form and leap.
If they follow then a knockback and root is good to slow them up.
When i lose matches i am not typically the one that dies.

To be clear, though, Frenzy involves a global to shift to bear, casting frenzy, and a global back into boomy as well. It’s a pretty big opportunity cost. Obviously it’s better than dying, but it’s one of the worst self heals in the game. That’s just a fact. I’m not complaining about moonkin whatsoever, I’m just pointing out that it’s worse than almost anything else (and that’s intentional because of the ability to infinitely shift).
Boomy is way better vs melee than other casters. Kinda always has been.
As I said, if you can pressure them and overcome the increase in output and handing them free clones, then sure. I can think of plenty of other targets I’d rather hit.
You forgot the disarm
Even with “fast” clones, if you’re getting cloned for free then you’re making a mistake. If you’re getting cloned outside of your CDs, then that’s good and you can press your clones afterwards. The “damage output” increase is incredibly minor as well. Don’t train the moonkin, but he should prettymuch ALWAYS be your kill target. Hit him WHENEVER he pushes in for clones and if he runs away let him; he’s not doing anything then and hit his friends. Let your healer reposition, then hit him again.
