I’d be ok giving up honed for more “button press” damage or heals. I believe honed exists because of you train a ranged, you shut them down. If you train a melee, you’re now a convenient cleave target. Maybe make thorns permanent and undispellable, and affect spells. Also, being forced into bear where you can no longer DO damage is stupid af compared to other class defensives that allow full pressure, like wall/bubble/AMS/cloak/evasion. Maybe if all those also read “you’re damage is reduced by 95%” as well.
I’d be cool if we just added a flat 40% DR to all pvp combatants and super nuked the “gib” meta, personally.
If balance Druid didn’t have honed and FR, what would they do when swapped to? They’d just die. No recourse, no counter play, just

it wont be noticed. instant cyclone is so much better. cleave wont be able to touch you when you can just instant cast cyclone on whomever you need. Warrior on you? instant cyclone him.
this is the biggest buff you could imagine.
You still need to take a few hits in moonkin form to get it off. Right now, if you’re not in bear form, you die in a stun, honed or not. Idk, maybe someone with a little more experience up the ladder can comment, but honesty I feel like if I’m not in bear form, I might as well be made of tissue paper against every single melee in the game.
Welcome to what it feels like for virtually everyone else in the game right now. You wont find much sympathy from people as a balance druid, you guys can tank damage better than virtually any class in the game right now (excluding immunities ofc).

That’s what I’m saying. It’s not like moonkins are running the ladder right now, either. If you can’t turtle, what do you have? Moonkins can deal with a medium push once a minute, IF the enemy doesn’t have an MS. Well, now every melee team will have an MS, and they’ve weakened bear form. Idc if moonkin frenzy let you cast cyclone at one stack, you’ll never get it off unless you burn trinket, so what does it give you?
This whole pvp season is canceraids, and nothing is being done about it, but they gone to maximum effort to remove moonkin from PvE, so there’s that.
They’d rather we not play balance, apparently.

Thats how every other caster (except mage) feels all the time. and we dont get 1/10th the defensives or mobility that druids do.
depends on what bracket you look at. RBG’s they are gods.
I’m calling BS on this, personally. Every other caster has instant cast CC, multiple defensives (that don’t remove them from
The damage meter), and they don’t have anywhere near the setup that balance needs to get damage out.

If moonkins were 1/2 as strong as you’re making them out to be, they’d be gods on the ladder.
they are in rbgs. we already agreed on that.
Somebody tested it on ptr and claimed it’s not instant cyclone.
That you get 2 separate charges of 50% cast time reduction, but not that it would stack to 100% making it instant.

They don’t exist. Because nobody cares. Arena is the real PvP of wow. Always has been.
If blizzard didn’t grossly inflate the rewards for RBGs, nobody would step foot in them.
Oh, bear form? You meant the thing that druids can do an unlimited number of times and stay in constantly? Compared to actual defensive cds like cloak and evasion?
Compare bear form to defensive stance.
Both 0 cd defensives . Bear form slightly better defensively. Bear form comes with 95% dps penalty vs 20% defensive stance penalty.
You’re saying this on the defensive stance class. Just wanna make you aware

“X class is broken so mine isn’t.” No one argues that warriors aren’t broken. But the defensive of most classes isn’t comparable to bear form.
