Body Type is not Consistent with WoW Classic

Not while I have breath in my lungs or blood in my fingers it won’t be.

The tide’s already moving. Apathetic and easily annoyed people like yourself are becoming a minority.

Saint Peter: Did you feed the hungry? Did you house the homeless? Take in the refugee? Give your wealth to the poor? Love your neighbor?

Salty Wow Player: I complained and crusaded against people who violate traditional gender norms!!! Now let me in!

Why is it so objectional to you?

Well that was a weak excuse for poignancy.

Michael: I’ve explained it over several points. Which point confused you?

If I had to summarise: It represents an ideological pathology. The whole collectivist idea is that kindness is key. Without consideration for the application of kindness. It seems to be a “If you just allow them to do what they want then it’ll be fine as they’ll be happy”. But that’s clearly not demonstrated to be the case. People do things all the time that work against their interests.

Then specious reasoning is given to why it isn’t working. Trans people have huge suicide rates for instance. Rather than thinking it’s to do with their inherent mental pathology that leads to their dysphoria, it’s placed on to society so that the trans person is considered perfect and infallible.

Body type 1 and body type 2 are just an extension of that. Albeit a small one.

Have you considered that the unhappiness and suicide rate of trans people and other minorities are caused by people who refuse to accept even minor efforts to make them feel more accepted?

No one considers them perfect or infallible. We just leave judgement to God.

I’d argue that’s specious reasoning. Trans people shy away from the idea of their dysphoria being a ‘condition’ even though it apparently requires medical and surgical intervention.

It’d seem to me Occam’s razor would imply that someone with a mental or psychological condition such as transgenderism should be the primary locus for where further pathologies (such as suicide ideation) should be explored. Not a catch-all statement of “Well if only society was better they wouldn’t have pathology”

Edit: We can safely assume that a non-dysphoric human who was subjected forcibly to hormonal changes and surgical changes such as those transgender people go through, would be more prone to suicidal ideation. I know if I was given estrogen to the point of sterilization or if I had bottom surgery I’d be less inclined to live. So why is it far-fetched to assume that the process being enacted is simply all there is to this outcome?
