This is totally inconsequential for most all players, but it could help some feel more welcome. Why? why can’t you give an inch? Why not just let it go? Calm down, relax, and forget about it.

It stopped being the case when people who were hormonally manipulated into sterility started speaking out against it. Body type 1 and Body type 2 are just a manifestation of the pathological Munchausen’s by proxy writ large.

Everybody knows theres only male or female and a very small intersex population. Blizz just has to cave to the mentally weak because they get societal brownie points when they do. T people know deep down they’re not what they say they are. No matter how many times they tell themselves in the mirror.

Words are powerful. Isn’t that the whole ethos of the perpetually-offended?
There’s good reason that pretty much all ideologies create their own nomenclature. Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Marxism, Communism, Daoism, Feminism, Trans/Wokism.
They’ve all made their own words and terms to fit their world-view.
The question is, you do you accept the lexicon when presented or not? I don’t accept “Omg why do you even care” is a valid argument for the affirmation of these things.
If your workplace started doing meetings about “Orgones” and how you need to combat it, would it be a fair thing for your boss to way “Oh you can just ignore it, why do you care?” Technically you could ignore it, but the writing would be on the wall for how your company is progressing. And so to it is for society.

Well it’s possible with lots of companies dropping their dei initiatives that we might see it BUT this is the video game industry we’re talking about, they (especially an American company) will be one of the last ones to do it.
If it’s that important to you maybe make a mod that changes the body types to male/female?

I honestly don’t care that much from an individual perspective. I barely hover over the options when selecting my character’s sex.
My point is when you start pandering to sensitive people, it’s hard to distinguish the line between who’s being overly defensive vs who is being overly offensive. Body type 1 and body type 2 are just symptoms of the underlying pathological social structure that has been eroded by people who clearly just don’t fit in normal social interaction.

Ya and, who decided males get to be god mode type 1 and females a lowly type 2 eww, it’s like first loser.
Having body type 1 and 2 still doesnt change the truth. Never forget that
