Everywhere I look, I see posts for classic saying for Alliance to get to Howling Fjord, go to Menethil Harbor, Wetlands and take the boat on the north pier. I’ve gone there on several days and wasted lots of time waiting and never see the boat. Is the only option to go to Borean Tundra from Stormwind?
No Northrend boats will be active until the full launch on Sept 26th.

Guys I read that I can take a portal in the Stormwind mage tower to get to Kul Tiras but I can’t find it anywhere…

You gotta run out to the middle of the ocean until fatigue kills you twice, then the magic balloon appears.

To get to Kul’tiras, one must first obtain the Mallet of Zul’farrak from the Hinterlands. Next, bless the mallet atop the sacred troll city of Jintha’alor. Finally, take the mallet to Stormwind Harbor, and bang the gong at the end of the dock. This should spawn a star fountain with an engraving which reads “Kul’tiras is real 2401”. To unlock the ship to Kul’tiras, run around this fountain 2,401 times. Then, talk to Varian Wrynn, who will then send you on a quest to the Firelands (another hard-to-explain area to get to currently, but possible) and kill the Fire Lich King (secret boss). Follow Cardenal’s instructions to get to Pandaria above, go to the Isle of Giants, and use the Fire Helm of Domination to summon a boat to Boralus, Kul’tiras.

The boats were decommissioned due to budget cuts. You have to swim there now.
