lol. They literally change specs because someone made a tier list. It’s those people. Done changed his whole entire game up because of a tier list and is mad because the spec he wants to play he thinks is worse but it isn’t. It’s hilarious at least.
You’re assuming everyone would enjoy playing other specs. Why would someone switch to a spec they don’t enjoy. This is the kind if thinking that cause people to sit out a patch/expansion or just quit the game.
Play a class, not a spec. Everything is viable except affliction warlock.

The mindset that balance doesn’t matter because players can just FotM hop or that’s it ok to be bad at this because it’s good at that, doesn’t serve the games health well. It’s a bad experience for everyone that’s a “play your most fun spec” player.

Eve in its pvp e sport try at least spiced it up. Ship bans.
Team A really likes ship A…ban it. Now no one flies it. other team gets to ban 1 of your ship classes too.
so at least it made the brackets more varied up till semi’s. Since yeah at some point teams like pandemic legion were jsut that good. But you could get 40+ matches up to that point and not see the same thing twice at least.
Well there was one year they stupid buffed drones (eve’s pets) and certain ships like Dominix. so everyone was running those drone boats. that was jsut a bad year of tourney. and ccp nerfed it right after too. so they did watch their tournament and did adjust balance not even 1 week after.

You realize that these rankings based on logs have the player skill factored out, right?
That’s what the “95%” at the top means.
That’s litterly impossible, each spec is its own micro class and plays differently from the others. That’s the point of specs. You can’t sit there and try to say otherwise.
I do just fine as a BM hunter and enjoy not caring what others tell me I should be playing. When you pay for my account you can tell me I should be playing MM or Survival. Till then I’ll just play what I want to play. This hunter has been BM since BC so yes she stays BM.

Then be mad is all I can say. I can take a feral Druid and do exactly what I do in a 15 key. And sub rogue is “s tier”.

What’s even worse is that one of the suggested specs is melee.
I’m talking about your logs. BM isn’t that good right now (outside of Mythic Halo and Jailer), but you aren’t good yourself. It should be easy to at least parse blue on an underperforming spec.

Everything is good at something. Find out what you do good and do that. Group with specs who do good at what you do bad. It’s a very simple concept.

I have 3 specs but I’m so bad I can only play one. Game sucks because they won’t buff the only spec I’m capable of playing.
You aren’t doing anything remotely competitive.
Play BM all you want. Have fun! But the minute you decide that you want to compete or contribute in meaningful content, you’ll run out of road.
There is a pretty massive amount of selection bias in these when the best players constantly fotm to the perceived best specs that exaggerates the gaps.
You have a gap, then put all the best players playing the already strong spec (it’s doesn’t matter how much stronger, the fotm chasing always happens. We
Have a decade of WCL parse count data for that) and lesser skilled players playing the weaker specs.
Then we compare them.
