That’s ironic since you are “qqing” right now. The pros feel the same way as to why they got void elf instead of high elf. Both sides QQ when both sides should want more options for both factions. Point and blank more options is better. High elf alliance doesnt make blood elfs not horde. You can still kill each other or not if you never have warmode on which then it really doesn’t matter.

Watching Alliance High Elves that are Blood Elves running around ruins the game.
Imagin’ copying humans to Horde with different options. then Orcs to Alliance and so on. It removes the identity of the faction and the identity of the game I’ve been playing for a very long time.
Great I’ve been playing this game since day 1. Guess what it wouldnt ruin it for me. Or maybe you forget since warcraft 3 humans orcs trolls etc have helped each other since Archimond.

This games identiy isnt even about factions. It’s about saving the world and having pointless squabbles within same factions more then against the other faction.
Also high elfs arent blood elfs so you need a. New argument. And if it’s the model that bothers you then your game is already ruined with void elfs.
Blood elves aren’t getting blue eyes but they are getting like ten new tones of green yay!

Why would Blizzard do that, after giving void elves? They didn’t because they don’t want what is already an option and playable copied to the opposite side.

When they renamed did they remove their tattoos, become unable to grow longer hair and style it different, wear different jewelry, have battle scars, etc?

High Elves eyes change around the type of magic they are near and use. Blood Elves eyes changed because they powered their city with fel crystals.
Let me lay the law down then. There is more then one type of genetic code two of them are what we have is DNA then there is RNA, dna takes longer to evolve and mutate RNA can actually change very fast. The species that has RNA can select a certain part to evolve faster. As in eyes to see better or the brain to think faster. Elves seem to have RNA. Also yes eyes changing like that for a whole species is a mutation. More so when it represents the are they are in. Much how fish deep down changed to have a light to adapt to there environment. So do, do the blood elfs high elfs. Voidelfs adapted more so with there eyes and the skin was stained by the void. But as they arent in the void anymore they can a adapt back to a more normal skin tone. Humans have dna. And I believe it is squids or octopuses that have RNA

As far as the lore of the game, they are not a mutation and their eyes are a result of being around fel, not eating it.
A lot of the ones in silvermoon were killed by arthas, and the ones who survived in silvermoon Became the Blood elves, The high elves are the ones who were not at Silvermoon during Arthas’s attack, because shockingly, the entier High elf population were not all in silvermoon city.
Also 200, which I’d still say is an understatment, but still is more than the Void elf population, by a LOT.

I’m sorry for this but I just thought it’d be hilarious if Blizzard made High Elves playable but the only class available was Death Knights
Sorry but we know evolution 100% happens in this game. We also assumed we knew blood elfs where highelfs to bad that changed today. And the main reason was the eyes. So I’m pretty confident that you are just the next step in evolution for highelfs. That stood around fel and light that is how your body adapted. Also it doesnt break the laws of there physics we know magic exist in that universe, but we also know evolution happens. Think of lightforged Draenei and normal dreanei. Lightforged are a forced evolution example is Turalyon, hes a human but hes also not he is extremely old yet hes not.
Anillei, as ever I am grateful for you posting our request. And although I heard what Ion said it’s not quite clear to me what he meant. We already knew in the past that Metzen mentioned cleansing of the Sunwell would eventually let Blood Elves gain back their previous eye color.
Maybe blizz has changed their views on the lore since that was mentioned, but until we get more clarification I would add my voice to this request again.
