Blue Eyes for Blood Elves

I am sure they will be un-linked in the next expansion from the face models.

(Commentary): I believe that is going to be the case for all races; eye color customization will be their own addition. I’m not sure if this includes Allied Races since they’ve stated they’re only adding things to the core races for Shadowlands’ launch. We’ll have to wait and see what the Alpha/Beta delivers, and even then, what comes when the expansion finally launches.

The forums are going to become the biggest salt mine in existence, come Shadowlands.

And you have to understand that it’s perfectly plausible for them to have blue eyes as well since that is the base of the Sunwell.

And plus, golden eyes are obtained by devotion to the light, not just because the Sunwell has holy energies mixed with arcane:

If we get blue then I want red, too.

(Commentary): Potentially. Either side can put a positive spin on it really. If Blood Elves get blue eyes, High Elves need to become more visually distinct, which means more customization for a non-playable race, indicating potential future playability. If Blood Elves don’t get blue eyes, it can be seen as something kept just for the Alliance’ High Elves, but that’s not really enough as is to make their own Allied Race, and without anything NEW for High Elves, the likelihood of their addition remains unchanged.

Alliance can look almost exactly like Blood Elves now with Void Elves.
The blue eyed high elves on the alliance aren’t playable…they’re just npcs, they don’t take precedent over the playable Blood Elves getting an eye color.

This argument goes both ways? Blood Elves being playable on the Horde doesn’t take precedent over Alliance players requesting playable, Alliance High Elves. None of us can play them yet. This is an Alliance thing almost exclusively though.

This is your proof? LOL!

They’ve been playable since 2007

The guy in charge of the story saying this?

Over your headcanon?

Yes, of course.

I will eat your tears in shadowlands.

Blue eyed High Elves? No, they haven’t, :stuck_out_tongue: Thalassians have been playable though.

You really can’t keep your pettyness at bay, hm?

Again, you can have all the headcanon you want, that doesn’t mean that it will, or that it should, manifest in game.

the high elves there can simply be the blood elves. its already been established they still to return to the homeland. idk what to tell you, i mean in the heritage quest line they havent renamed the race yet

I know you can. Just because you want something in game doesn’t mean it should or will manifest in game.

Again, I’m not the one denying very clear, canon lore.

This doesn’t really take away from my point,

We’ve seen it once, and it was only at Quel’danas.

They may as well allow it. Here I am, a superior breed of High Elf, and I have blue eyes. Might as well allow the lower class rabble to enjoy a few perks.

you only have to see it once for it to be established. if it was never shown i wouldnt be able to make this claim
