With the latest patch to Wrath Classic the “Cache of the Ley-Guardian” was introduced. This cache is only obtainable if you queue into The Occulus randomly with the dungeon finder tool. This cache is the only way to obtain the Blue Drake mount. Due to the way players interact with the game, it is far more efficient to just farm FoS for your daily dungeon for badges which has made queuing randomly into the Occulus nearly impossible. I, like many others have been trying to bait the dungeon for months now to no avail. I personally have done a random dungeon on multiple toons nearly every single day since the ICC patch went live and have queued into the dungeon once. I queue into either FoS, Pit or RoS every single time I queue. I have also spent days while working from home queuing, leaving the dungeon once queuing in and not getting The Occulus and waiting for the cooldown to expire to do it again.
The simple solution to this problem is to simply allow the Cache to drop when selecting The Occulus for a specific queue. The cache was initially added into the game to get people to queue more dungeons, but with the current game meta this is nearly impossible. This will also more than likely drive more engagement since people will have a reason again to log on, queue into The Occulus and do the dungeon. I hope this issue can be resolved with this quick and easy fix!
