Warcraft Devs Tweet suggests it drops off Heroic Zul. Used to tame Crawgs supposedly

Me thinks they literally just hot fixed this in today since so many Hunters were looking all over for this.

According to wowhead, it might be a challange like fenryr, maybe killing shadow of zul in KR heroic.
Anyone have one yet?

I guess solo mythic Infested Crawg in Underrot will work like Fenryr.

This makes no sense the Tweet was H Zul and its tome that talks about Zul. No were has anyone said go kill Crawg on mythic.

I seen a hunter with the grey crawg yesterday while doing world quests in Arathi. So someone has found the item to tame them. You’d think someone would have posted by now. I could care less for blood beasts, they are ugly. Just wanted to mention running into someone who has one however.

With the wording of @BlizzardDevs latest tweet I’m wondering what kind of Fecal Storm will ensue if Blizzard has decided to hide this item behind a Raid or Mythic+ Boss.

Would be very very lame to put the item as a raid or certain mythic level drop. For a family that’s just a regular one, not some super cool exotic or unique spirit beast, would be a poor choice putting the item on such a high pedestal.

Appears they found the tome:

Hearthing during the boss fight. Yeah, this is going to make it nearly impossible for hunters to pug Heroic Zul. No one is gonna take them. :frowning:

Yep, this is really horrible design. I’m sure this will be an easy deal 2-3 patches from now, but its still poor overall design. Do they even think this crap out?

They would avoided this only by telling the people how the fk obtain the tome.

This is not a freak mount, its just a new pet.

There’s a trinket that summons a crawg to fight for you. It stays out for a pretty decent time, so I suspect that’s what you saw.

Why the hell would you put this drop on Heroic Zul. Guilds stopped raiding Uldir weeks ago. Nothing but rocks in your heads Blizzard. Way to annoy your community again.

Exact intentions, hunters will keep making H Uldir groups for a months just to have the tome. It is a lazy way to keep a raid alive and to have something to do for the future. What about about the causal players? Well they can just wait untill Heroic Zul intrivival.

Blizz has gone way downhill in the last two expacs for some reason. I do not know what is going on over there ,but i unsubed this morning. I will wait until they have a game worth my time playing. Gating a base pet class behind a heroic raid was the last drop in the bucket for me.
