Is it normal for a quest to be bugged for so long?

This is also bugged for me. But i can see all of the Emanciated Felbloods...they are all dead on the spot they were standing on...for the past hour. None have despawned and i didnt kill any of them. Its also 5am and im the only person in this area. :( i never had a problem with this when i got the shattered sun rep on my warrior back in 2008.

Lol, it seems like this bug still exists. I have it.

Confirmed, once turned emaciated and killed, the quest status does not change, kill does not count and body does not respawn as of 11/25/2016

And six hours later, it worked out just fine, no bugs whatsoever. Give it some time! :)

Nice work over a year and a half and still will not replace this quest or fix it!

The quest is actually still bugged- only this time, the initiates are unkillable.

If anyone is still looking to finish this, I figured out why the kills don't proc. You have to use the Fel Siphon item the quest gives you and then WAIT like 5 seconds for the initiates to fully transform. If you kill them while they are stunned it doesn't count for some reason.

Still broken as per original post. Tons of dead and not-despawning Emaciated Fellblood corpses, no respawns of Fellblood Initiates.

Over two years and still no fix...
If it's not new content, then Blizzard won't work on it.

wow this has got to be the single most retarded thing I ever seen in terms of unfixed bugs
mobs are unkillable - theyre just whacking away on my fire mage while I write this

Still bugged as of 8/10/2018 now you can't get them to be emaciated.
No quest credit for killing.

October 10, 2018 - The Felblood Initiates spawn, but they die immediately after being turned to emaciated felbloods. There is no time to attack before they die, and we still don't get credit for them. :(

It is still bugged as of 10/25/2018. Flew around and was in area about 20 minutes, nothing respawned. Just lots of greyed out ones
