High elves were always part of the alliance saying that the ones that were part of the alliance of lordaeron were traitors is wrong because elven priests were sent from quel’thalas to aid Arthas. And dispite the high elves “leaving” the alliance they still relied on them after the fall of quel’thalas for aid which the alliance gladly gave. Also the alliance has not been remade at all. The alliance is still the same old alliance of lordaeron but except without lordaeron. The alliance of lordaeron was dalaran ironforge gilneas kul tiras alterac lordaeron Stormwind aerie peak and quel’thalas
Right now it’s ironforge airie peak gilneas kul tiras stormwind , dalaran is debatable due to mop and not knowing anything after legion. All we are missing is alterac, lordaeron and quel’thalas. Lordaeron the humans want to retake and tried and alterac betrayed the alliance, quel’thalas is the only representative we don’t have now.
The horde have their groups all but ogres and people want ogres and high elves to see wc2 alliance and horde again.
Idk why for them but for myself I love The lore more in wc2 then 3 and forward because they have gone writing too far from its roots.
I think the oppose would be a stronger end to the demand. High Elves should all be given gold eyes, to match the reignition of the Sunwell as holy energy, which all High Elves are still connected to. The elimination of blue eyes all together would effectively take away the ONLY DIFFERENTIATION between High Elves and Blood Elves, other than who they choose to fight for.

except its a mix of Arcane and holy.
All silvermoon scholars and high elf wayfarers should just call themselves Void Elves, to honor the efforts of their void corrupted brethren
Then Umbric will turn out to be a bad guy, siding with the Void Lords because he doesn’t really want to side with that half- void, half-high Elf mongrel (Alleria)
Well it was Kael Thas Sunstrider that made the former High Elves (now known as Blood Elves) within Silvermoon City take Fel Magic or be considered a traitor to Quel Thalas. Those that didn’t take the magic were accepted into Stormwind, and the elves that were in Dalaran, of course, never took the Fel from the Sunwell.
Knowing full well what Fel Magic did to Medhiv, the Alliance didn’t trust the Blood Elves so they were outcasted, but the Horde welcomed it.
That’s some damned powerful head cannon you have going on there.
The Silver Covenant is also allied with the Alliance and made up entirely of uncorrupted High Elves, and has enough numbers to field a decent sized army in both MoP and Legion.

I think the Silver Covenant, while in Dalaran to watch out for any Horde uprisings, is considered a neutral force like all those in Dalaran … or am I wrong in that?
