I’d rather see dark ranger added as a new class, not skin tones.
This would be great, but they probably won’t do anymore elves.
Another lovely wholesome thread by Balesong. Thank you.
This accurately portrays the top desires we’ve debated on the past few weeks.
Not just belf threads either. He’s popped up in non-elf threads and started talking about Alliance high elves out of nowhere.
That’s some leaked footage of him IRL right there.
As someone with 37 Blood Elf Toons, I disagree with this completely.
Calling me a troll because I know more about Warcraft than you isn’t very nice.
I’m just a level 120 Blood Elf player who thinks Blizzard’s time would be better used giving Blood Elves more thematic eye color options than “Alliance Silver Covenant blue.”
Well, you apparently do NOT know your lore…so yes, you ARE trolling!
Considering you are stuck in WC2 for every argument and refuse to accept what’s actually occurred, I call this into question.
Everyone calls it into question. They continue to think it works for some reason.
Exactly! And many a WoW-Dev has stated that WoW is heavily based on WC3! WC2 is considered non-canon, while WC3 is indeed canon…
I really want Dark Ranger/San’layn to mirror the “edge” that Void Elves have in general. And Thalassian elves have been “vampiric” since the fall of the Sunwell. Bring that aesthetic and feel back.
If both races are going to have the “core” aesthetic, giving Blood Elves something that truly fits their namesake as a bonus to expand on their customization would be huge.
There is an alternative, however; more light focused customization. Especially if we wind up getting tattoos and what not. Ya’ll got the Sunwell, and it seems they’re building into a light vs void theme with the Thalassians.
Red/Gold tattoos for Horde - expanding on the Sunwell becoming light infused.
I want more sun themes for their jewelry. Obviously, velf would get blue/purple down the road when AR’s get their big pass. (Thus, allowing some major visual distinction too.)
I want jewelry for males too. They’re elves; anybody who has an issue with it can stuff it and go actually learn about elves in fantasy, and some human history at that too
And in regards to the Blue Eyed thing; it’s dead.
Void Elves are getting “High Elf” skins, and Blood Elves are getting blue eyes. It seems very likely that the Silver Covenant may merge with the Ren’dorei, and if we want to have an excuse that isn’t “fel wore off” - some of those Silver Covenant may return to Quel’thalas because they don’t want to dabble with void.
Both factions got them.
I’m not big on the whole light theme but I appreciate your entire post, so you get a like from me.
When Joker Gulid and Glorious Manlove show up to troll and gaslight ya, you know you’re right.
Anyway, here’s to Blizzard hopefully doing the right thing by giving Blood Elves options that fit rather than options solely to attract Alliance players.
Or they could do both?
Zero reason to be limiting.
Like I said! You ARE TROLLING!
Whoopsies…wrong post flagged…forgive me. This stupid Troll won’t accept reality of the lore in question. I was trying to click on his post.
No one is gaslighting you. Stop trying.
Absolutely none of the cosmetic options Blood Elves are getting are going to “attract Alliance players” when Alliance players can finally make a “High Elf” on Alliance.
Exactly! You are being quite a dick and a jerk! Move on, and learn to accept facts, rather than being stuck in Warcraft 2 lore!
Not to mention, I’ve been informed by several Pro High Elf fans that Blue-eyes is not what makes a High Elf anyways.
