Blood Elf Celebration Thread

I’m really really hoping that we get a Withered variant as an option.

I hope they don’t keep them NPCs. In an expansion pack touting more customization for everyone (minus Allied Races) and allowing players to fulfill their fantasies, it’d be kind of mean to keep Dark Rangers NPCs. Dark Rangers have been popular demand for a while just like Wildhammer Dwarves have. It wouldn’t make sense to leave them out unless they’re going to do something else to make Dark Rangers playable.

I was looking forward to the undead skins and red eyes the most.

Yea like I said I’m on board with it, and I hope if they do add it it gets added for all the different races they’ve recruited cause that’d be really awesome (especially since it’d be even more options for night elf players and they’d have a good variety to RP with/etc.)

So far I think Blizz is hitting it out of the park with all the races and so much customization is incredibly refreshing!

They’re saving that for Alliance High Elves.

I’ll take them. All thalassians are welcome in the Alliance :eyes:

I saw a new tattoo leak on Twitter for Blood Elves. It’s kind of like a random set of lines wrapping around their torso? I’ll find try to find a link RQ.

Edit:
NVM, it’s jewellery and it’s probably fake. My bad.

feels like blood elves seem to get ALL the goodies . . . I pray those eyes are either DK eyes or npc updates, because that in of itself will be a s**** show . . . congrats on the darker skin tones though I guess

The show is pretty much over now, it was not pretty here yesterday.
Why would you have a problem and feel the need to pray against Blood Elves getting blue eyes?

I mean, it’s just getting what should have already been there like a few of the other races, too. People are just going be polarized against it cause it kills a thing they wanted.

In any case, the new additions I think are going to be a big hit with the overall community (since the forums are just a small bit of that) and seeing as belves are the most played race it’s going to be a big boost to the largest part of the playerbase option wise.

I’m excited!

Thats a good question . . . why do you feel the need to shoot down everyone who wants alliance high elves?

To actually answer your question, I am not FULLY against them getting blue eyes, but when blizzard themselves have acknowledged high elves as the most requested player race for alliance then give them to the horde . . . kinda says something about their priorities. What I’m saying is, they can have blue eyes . . . just give the Alliance high elves first.

blood elves are the high elves. blue eyes make sense for them and should be an option. its comical you think the alliance have a say on what a horde race should get

We’ve been here since BC, there’s nothing to “give to” Alliance. It’s just finally time for the options to be added to what’s already the defacto playable high elf. I understand wanting alliance versions to be playable but it’s been a beaten dead horse of why it wasn’t going to happen and this is just another clear signal of it.

It’s going to be great for a lot of people and it’s some amazing options for us, all of the new customizations are going to really help the game!

sigh . . . I will never understand why some folks aren’t open to the concept of both parties getting what they want . . . like adding high elves to the Alliance player roster will REALLY hurt the horde population or something . . .

Sometimes both parties get what they want, this isn’t one of those times. And it’s ok with being fine with that.

Chill, lel. Nobody in here is deciding what happens with WoW or not. And giving BLood Elves blue eyes doesn’t mean anything for us. All the blue-eyed thalassians in Alliance aren’t going to suddenly disappear and join Silvermoon and the Horde.

perhaps . . . but as I have said Blizzard themselves HAVE acknowledged that alliance high elves are the most requested race at this point (given the now playable status of the Mag’Har and the forest troll options coming for regular trolls) so to flat out say that then go the other way with it basically says “We know what you want, but we don’t care go play the other side.” . . . seems counter productive to me.

Well, some have and that’s been shown, right? Maybe not specifically the covenant but the relations with other high elves has been getting better especially with the pilgrims visiting the Sunwell.

It’s not too far fetched to say some/many may have stayed or rejoined their families/etc. Especially those that have had blue eyes in the past and still remained, you know?
