Blood Elf Celebration Thread

I love that this kind of stuff is an option! Same with the one blind eye/etc. Hoping both male and female get farstrider tatts and males get scars and beards. Well, scarring for both would be awesome, too!

Let’s you really lean into who your character is with so much variety! Want to be a more pristine city dweller? You can! More of a rugged hunter or adventurer, maybe even a pirate? Go for it!

I know! I can’t wait to really flesh out my BE stories and their physical features. I love it.

Still figuring out what color eyes I reaaally want for some of them.

Also still hoping for purple eyes.

Giving blood elves certain skin stones that are common in humans such as black or brown is kinda odd because blood elves aren’t human, they are a completely different species. I can understand giving diversity skin tones to humans and kultiran humans but elves? Lore-breaking. I hope they don’t give this ridiculous skin tones to the void elves. The game is turning less and less about Warcraft and more and more about diversity politics and what’s socially politically correct.

Its not actually. There is a mention of dark skinned High Elf in lore.

When was this added? Link?

There is a comic one that I don’t have the source for but Twilight of the Aspects has a dark skinned elf as well.

In either case, go talk to the High Elf Pro folk on their discord. They’ll tell you about the dark skinned comic one.

I don’t ever recall seeing a black blood elf and I have played this game since the day it came out. What you are referencing is lore? For that I need a source.

Just told you one. Twilight of the Aspects. Its a book. Its canon lore.

I also told you a place you can start your search for the other. If you don’t want to then by all means continue spouting nonsense.

Do you have a quote though from the book? It’s not nonsense, I never knew black blood elves existed, I thought it was a diversity quota thing they are adding into the game.

If Blizzard cared about diversity quotas they’d have made Wranduin a thing in game.

I do not have a quote. I trust that, given your guild name, you are capable of finding it from what I have given you.

Books tend to have a finite character list after all.

sigh

I asked and her name is Devi. They also don’t know the comic book one at the moment it seems. Though I know I have seen it.

Well they already made Shaw and Flynn a thing so I am pretty sure it’s happening slowly.

Those two rascals finally tying the knot? Good. They had chemistry. Hope they don’t use it as an excuse to put Taelia with Anduin and nuke her character. Ugh.

Honestly though if you care about races that have human-like skintones getting human-like skintones. You need to really look into yourself and figure that out.

Its utterly ridiculous.

No what’s weird is that black blood elves never happened since TBC was launched. But now all of a sudden it’s happening out of the blue, with all the other customizations other races are getting. Elves are a different species than humans, why should they have same skin colors like humans? It does kinda feel like an agenda.

there is nothing to celebrate here…
nothing i wanted for blood elves is there, i dont care about brown skin (cause people dont known the difference between black and brown), where is my black hair blizzard? where is my tatoos? where is my long beard?

Where is the option to have human-like ears for blood elves?

The words you spout sure do.

Its early yet. You’ll see plenty down the line I’m sure. Remember its only an alpha build.

Keep white knighting.

that makes as much sense as adding draenei tentacles stuff to a human face, or a tail

Eh, lets think that over actually.

Half-Elves are a thing… so there is some precedent. I think it’s unlikely we’d see Blizzard do it, but its not super far out there as putting Draenei tentacles on them.

cool theory, but the son of alleria and turalyon got elfs ear and he is a half-elf
