Hi all. I am a well geared blood DK looking for a guild to raid mythic with in Shadowlands. I can do either Alliance(474) or Horde(468) as well as a variety of other tanking options. I will not be able to play non DK for the remainder of BFA but i can still switch when shadowlands arrives to better suit the guilds needs! About Hypertension:
Hypertension is a guild that started around the end of BoD tier. We concentrate on providing a unique raiding atmosphere, one that is enjoyable yet professional, this means we will have fun and joke but when it comes to progression attempts we expect full attention on the raid leader and raid mechanics. We are a group of mature gamers that welcome all sorts of humor that isnt racist/homophobic/discriminatory ETC. Essentially we want to provide you a fun safe place to enjoy the game and have fun while you do it.
Our goals as a guild:
We are starting to reform for shadowlands, a lot of our raid team from 8.2 left for classic WoW / other interests, and thus leaving a core group of us pugging through the content of 8.3 . We all earned AOTC, and a couple have been pushing mythic raid in pugs as well, but overall would like a solid foundation to work with in SL.
We strive to balance having a good time while working together towards progression.
Even if raiding isn’t your thing, we also have several members that enjoy M+ pushing as well! Don’t feel like our guild is only welcoming raiders, we want you!
Raid Times:
Tuesday/Wednesday 8-11pm PST (Subject to change, we will give at least 2 weeks notice if it does)
Often times members of the guild will gather up for extra progression after scheduled raid times, nobody is expected to attend, but everyone is welcome.
During early progression, raid times may be extended for a few pulls. No additional Nights are planned unless discussed prior to.

Akai Soubi has been an established guild on Uther since Molten Core with multiple server firsts from BC through Cata. Now, we are a primarily Heroic flex raiding guild but maintain our commitment to hard work and excellence. Its Mine I Licked It (US-Storm rage) is recruiting for semi-hardcore raiding in Shadowlands!
Its Mine I Licked It was founded prior to the launch of Shadowlands by a group of friends with significant hardcore raiding experience. All of the founding members have played WoW since The Burning Crusade or earlier, and have raided since Wrath of the Lich King or before. More to the point, each of the founding members have at minimum US Top 50 experience, and we have all held leadership positions in competitive raiding guilds.
However, life goes on and people get older, and we all stopped raiding or even playing the game all together in either Legion or Battle for Azeroth for individual reasons. However, we also love this game and have come back over the last few months (or for some of us, never left at all). For all of us, raiding is an integral part of this game, and that’s what we plan to do. Still, we don’t want to break our backs pushing the true bleeding edge of end game content like we all did for so many years.
In Shadowlands, we will plan to clear all Heroic raid content and some Mythic content, as well as provide an environment conducive for Mythic + dungeon runs. However, we are all at the point in our lives where pushing late hours or extra nights to clear a Mythic Raid is not what we are looking for. Instead, we want to focus on a less grindy experience while still pushing ourselves and playing efficiently.
The raid schedule is going to be TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS from 8 EST – 11 US Eastern time. We will only be raiding 6 hours a week, so we will be pulling at 8. In other words, the ability to be on by 7:45 or so is important/necessary.
