On eu, the top 3 dks are blood dks in shuffle. With the highest unholy being at 2447 rn. this is the lowest rating of any spec btw.
Dk has also shown up in the top 100 for overall shuffle ratings for the first time in 2 months, thanks to blood dk.
In 3v3 the top 6 dks in EU are blood, with 2409 being the highest unholy( blood is at 2711)
In NA, Mes is the only dk playing blood rn, and while he’s already the highest rated dk in shuffle, he hasn’t reached his mmr in 3v3 yet which is over 2700.
Now, blood dk is strong, i’d say it’s A+ tier as it does have weaknesses, esp to wizard comps. but the reason it’s so much better than unholy is because unholy is just unbelievelably bad.
It has what unholy doesn’t, which is kill pressure. And as more time passes, more people will know about it and swap over, as blizzard has given dks no option if they want to push rating.
Yeah, unholy being dollar store frost is stupid; unh needs to be the throughput spec, and like actual single target pressure not pretend fake disease pad that’s passively healed

I don’t agree with that unholy specifically can’t kill anything because it doesn’t burst ever. Unh feels like aff lock did in a most of DF, topping meters and killing absolutely nothing(high sustain no burst)
dcoil does 250k-300k AVG per hit xD. no exxageration
i think their best shot is to buff wounds up a bunch since that’s harder to passively cleave with.
if they don’t want to go that route, they make dcoil cleave do like 50% less dmg, and buff deathcoil by literally 100% - maybe actually 50-75%, unholy is actually that bad rn, 250k average on 7 mil hp pool is straightup a rip tick.

yea everything is just flipped on its head rn. it was really cool watching pika do like 620k dps all game to saul and larosz’ 400k while kidney shotting every 20 seconds, having 4 second rake stuns, and then cloning off dr.
Funny thing is that pvp is still better balanced than keys are, lmao.
