I doubt they will but honestly if tanks became actually viable in all forms of PVP like they are in Overwatch (fundamentally different designed), I’d play one just like I did there.

Col Arms Warrior is some of the most fun I’ve ever had on warrior.
They only hit that hard when you are low HP and the DK is using ruin of sanguination.
Its more fun as Prot cause the burst is higher and guaranteed with Shield Charge used at least 5 yards away to remove the global CD
But yeah Arms Colossus is the closest thing to meaningful/rewarding damage we have currently, WotLK Warrior is leagues more fun however

It doesn’t have to be 50%… if they re-added it now as 25% instead I think it’d be a good fit, doesn’t even have to reduce healing either. Just give us something for spell casters, spell reflect is a joke now.
I think everyone but the children that play them recognize that when tanks are good in PvP, PvP for a lot of other players really sucks. Tanks are the very definition of rock, paper, scissors. While I would love for tanks to be balanced in PvP, they never are and they simply feed off melee comps.
Have seen blood dks at full health melting targets.
The changes that I would like to see for tanks is reduction for tank damage against players, but retain the damage against NPCs within PvP. This would ultimately only apply to Epic BGs for both situations happening.
Tanks specifically destroy melee and do okay against ranged, ranged however destroy tanks as long as they can maintain distance gap. I may be bias considering I mainly play melee and do have issues playing into tank teams.
Playing against a tank team does however eliminate the discussion of who is the kill target because the tank is rarely going to go down easily. Most games come down to killing the non-tank dps and then the tank/healer are still pressing because they still have stalwart defensives and healing on top of tank doing nasty burst that can kill opposing dps/healers.

Prot warrior and blood dk are the only outliers. They should never do comparable damage to their dps counterparts. Nerf them back to obvlion!!!
Losing to tanks on a real spec should be reportable.
That statement would mean something if Tanks were actually better than their DPS counterparts in high end 3v3, but they’re not. The only argument would be Blood since the other DK specs are so bad.
Just cause you can’t zug arena like a PvE raid boss doesn’t mean its bad for the game, I’d argue healers are more toxic currently as they completely decimated the 2v2 bracket. You can’t queue without one except for like 2 comps.
I think he’s biased against tanks because I took a few bites out of him in DF
