Blocking Quest Sharing

The ability to block quest shares under Social in interface. You can block trades, guild invites, etc. I think quest sharing needs to be one of them now. People constantly spam it in AV’s. Might be amusing to some, but after a while, it would be nice if we could just block it. Normally wouldn’t mind that much, but people are starting to do it during fights now. It needs to have some fix to it since we can’t put people on ignore from other realms

This 100%. I actually report them for spamming everytime.

Or they could just ban / remove the ability to share quests after enough reports.

or… just add an option to block it. that sounds a lot easier.

But I want quest share on for other shareable quests like the AV box that gives pots and such when you win.
Why make our lives harder when you can punish the people spamming.

if somebody doesn’t want a quest to be shared to them then they should have every right not to receive it. I do not understand why you feel the need to have to enforce that on others.

I’m not against being able to toggle it off. I’m against it being a solution to people spamming in AV. I want the rep quest for pots not the guy sharing cluck 20 times.

Let people toggle it off but also punish people for abusing quest share to spam.

Either way this has been asked for for several years now they won’t add it so might as well just ban the spammers it’s faster and easier when you have automated banning.

Also they’re not sharing it to help you. They’re sharing it to make you focus on their quest. There’s a malaise of selfishness on sharing quests without someone else asking for it first.

it is technically available in retail since you can put somebody even if they are on a different server, on ignore. So it’s back to my original point. On classic, it does NOT let you ignore people if somebody is on a different server like it does on retail.

Report them. Ppl are getting chat banned for 7 days for sharing non related pvp quests.

A chat ban for 7 days means they can’t use LFG. Can’t whisper invite… can’t do anything.

Report report report.

I believe leatrix plus has a block quest sharing feature. Don’t quote me though

People are getting banned for sharing Cluck!?

Seems a bit extreme. I’ve had someone share that quest in AV and thought it was funny.

Addons let you do this easily

Going to queue as a pre-made and share cluck! and any triggered boomer who tries to abuse the report feature will get reported themselves and be subject to a ban.
