That will be accomplished by giving players access to dungeons where mobs do damage, which will happen next week.
If you spec correctly as prot war… You can self heal in heroics, and M0 perfectly fine so long as you know mechanics and DPS don’t walk into you with effects.
I once made a healer leave because he was just standing there as everyone else was self healing xD
I told him to go dps spec and he left. We got it done with the 4 of us easily lol
Also since I had 2 guys in there with 370+ ilvl thanks to the crafting bugs people are making tons of gear easily.
Personally myself I want classic level of dungeon difficulty back. Where dungeons took 1-2 sometimes 3-4 hours to complete if a group was ill prepared.
People wouldn’t agree to that these days because as we get older we value our time more lol
The kids who play now are just caught up in the dust we left behind with systems that favor your time rather than fully waste it.
It’s mainly why people stay away from raids these days and gear up in M+ instead… Quicker more guaranteed gearing vs raids.
Enhancement Shamans are mega squishy without our self-healing, no thanks.

I don’t play games to be punished for playing the game. Why would I want to slow down content if I have to meticulously kill 1 mob then heal, 1 mob, heal over and over again.
It would make questing take SO LONG

Games are supposed to have ups and downs, and your own ability and knowledge is what gives you more ups than downs.
The downs are what make the ups so enjoyable. Make them feel worth, and as if you earned something.
players like you ruin games. you want no punishments to occur even when you are playing terribly. you want everything free even if you fail. you think you’re winning and doing well even though the game just hands you the trophy no matter how bad you play.
you might think that this is better for the game, but the game is hovering around half a million players when it used to be 12 million. your way is wrong, dull, boring, and has no depth.
We are ready Blizz take us back to 2010 and triage healing from Cata. Hit us hard and make mechanics matter once again.
I do think oddly enough there is more of a community for a harder WoW now than ever before.

As a healer in pvp i love when my dps can self sustain while i’m in a cc
As a pvp player i also hate that the enemy dps isnt dying because they’re self sustaining while i have their healer cced
As a bg healer it’s annoying not having the damage to 1v1 anything other than a rogue or hunter because everything else passively heals and i go oom before any of them
I’d be less annoyed with dps healing if they actually had a limit to their healing and if my mana was better. A dps healing longer than a healer isn’t right

I’m not saying that. It’s people like you who expect WoW to be like Dark Souls. Do you understand how long it would take to quest when you have to constantly stop and heal after one mob without self-healing?
I don’t mind a challenge, but I don’t want the challenge to make gameplay more tedious or longer than it has to be.
As an evoker main, without my healing skills I fall over and die in outworld content with tough elites or rares…no thanks.
