I hope not. I would have to think Blizzard has wasted development resources on solo content when this is a Massively Multi-player Online Role-Playing Game.
Don’t want to group up, don’t. But quit asking for Blizzard to twist the game in order to cater to your whims.
It’s more like a classic burger joint that sells a variety of foods, but the hot dogs are dry and flavorless. People ask them to make the hot dogs taste better, and the burger crew always comes in and goes “iT’s A bUrGeR pLaCe So JuSt GeT a BuRgEr.”
But they have hot dogs on the menu, and I’m just asking for them to taste better. It has zero impact on your burgers. None.
MMO literally means " A **massively multiplayer online game"
It does not mean you have to group with people if you don’t want to. it also does not mean it only caters to groups. people that say this often get these confused.
I love seeing other people in game, I like my guild and raiding, on raid days, BUT I also prefer to do things alone, it doesn’t make me wrong, nor does it mean i am doing MMO incorrectly, same as the OP, group content is optional.
It’s an MMO, you’re meant to play with other people. If your old friends aren’t playing any more, make new ones. If you don’t want to, the MMOs are not for you. Go play a single player RPG instead.
again with this bs analogy. mmo games are way too seperate mechanically to imply that multiplayer is the sole appeal over single player games like skyrim or witcher. if that was true nobody would be on here arguing about it would they.
Really so pet battling was group content? running old raid and dungeons for pets was group content? farming transmog and mounts was group content? wq’s are group content? lmfao you made yourself looks abit silly with those comments. I have solo’ed this game since 2008 and I have more achievement points then you. Which has all been taken away now with SL. I could even podder along in BFA and solo my content.
while thats technically true thats most of the game at max level. everything else at endgame isnt designed to be actual solo content but just to fill the downtime inbetween dungeons and raids. which is the problem. theres content but its not designed to be played seriously on its own.
So pet battles, and running old raids and dungeons for pets is considered the main focus of the game? Right, and I’m the one the made myself look silly?
This gave me a good laugh so thanks for that I guess.
