Why would they have a Blizzcon? Nothing is coming
They announced everything they needed in 2023
I would suspect Blizzcon is pretty dead at this point (hope it’s not, but I can see it)

As far as we know, no, there is no BlizzCon. There are these worldwide events instead.
And there is no such thing as WoW 2.

In WoW 2 they visit a new Galaxy where a spaceship has been on a journey for thousands of years seeding interplanetary gateways between planets. A new threat emerges from another distant galaxy in which ancient beings with powerful alcolites influence all of civilization. With these new gateways they started popping up hundreds of years ago. They try to get the populations to bow down and worship them which in turn feeds these powerful beings with power. It’s up to us to put a stop to it and free this new galaxy from oppression.

There is a new WoW x-pack being “announced”/revealed
There is probably a new D4 x-pack lined up for next year.
And Im sure those crazy kids over at Overwatch are in overdrive trying to reclaim some of that marketshare they lost to MarvelRivals
So as much to talk about as there is any year we have had Blizzcon. And the local events seem to be “selling” out in seconds

What new xpac? The next pac isn’t until late next year
As nice as it would be for them to move it to the East Coast I really doubt they would seeing how close they are to the convention center they use for it.
I think what would be really nice is have smaller ones.
As in one where they normally do for WC,another somewhere in the Central/Midwest and another for East Coast.
Make it easier for attendence .
I think that’s why they were doing the virtual attendance. I’m not sure if they are still doing that.

Blizzard is dead. It’s not 2010 anymore they don’t have games with enough people who care to sell a convention.
Truth be told…I’d rather go to Comic con.
I remember one year, Blizzcon had Metallica as their closing entertainment.
I watched it on my computer. It was pretty cool.

I legit only play WoW for a Blizzard game in 2025. 10 years ago I’d be hype for Star Craft/HoTs/Overwatch/that other MMO they teased but cancelled.
There’s literally no games from Blizzard in 2025 that matter besides WoW.

Doubtful. They are doing a world tour for the 30th anniversary of Warcraft.
With Microsoft’s ownership and no new IP from Blizzard in years, that Blizzcon is probably a thing of the past.
