Yeah, i can not remember the name of it, but i am still using the Roccat
Ryos mechanical keyboard i bought for an insane amount of $$ lol. Not a key has failed yet.
But yeah, blizz had a big booth there with a working upcoming expansion, or big patch. Can not remember, my son played it for 2 days lol.

I bought a brand new (albeit, cheap) Keyboard last year that let you change certain sections of the backlight color… I love it but out of the box the equals key is broken

Their angst felt so good flowing through my teenaged veins though. As an adult now however, I find all that melodrama fairly amusing. Still sad what happened to the lead singer though.

I think they’re either acknowledging that there’s a demographic they haven’t been paying enough attention to, or they’re trying to broaden their appeal to them.
WoW players often get stereotyped as metalheads, but I think that’s a shrinking demographic, relatively speaking.

Yeah, this thing has insane backlighting options, and you can make all kinds og macros, but when i got it, i found out that in no way should i use the software or the built in stuff for WoW, the only game i play. So i just use it as a regular keyboard.
It was PAX East we went to that year. Wanna say around 2009-2011?

Not really, the last few threads about what you listen to while playing, or whatever have been filled with metal/thrash metal bands.
I feel like it’s probably the latter. These days however I’m not sure much luck they’ll have bringing younger folk into such an old style, aging, bloated game. Hanging onto their existing players might be the best they can do. That’s kind of a sad thought. But also kind of okay. I don’t mind if my favourite game because a niche thing with a small, dedicated community.

I don’t know what kpop is and I don’t really care. My preferred music comes from the Netherlands and surrounding areas. When blizzard starts booking some of those bands/artists then I’ll pay attention.
I doubt anyone cares a part from a small niche about K POP in this player base, OW, etc…
It is a trendy thing done by higher ups probably thinking more people will talk about it.
Fact is as many mentioned, lots of hate and disdain towards blizz, activision, and there was a huge shift post covid with this, and as someone mentiioned movie theatre attendance etc… its just a change of the times.
